    2011, that is very outdated. Construct2 will probably also not function correctly with such an old version.

    If your mama won't let you update the driver then you will probably have issues.

    If you don't want to run the install. Then you can't install it. The icon is the standard icon for installations. It is an exe file, a executable file. Yes it is a setup/install file. Yes, if you want to use Node Webkit you need to install it.

    Sidenote: You obviously don't speak english. Use google translate to write russian, then translate to english. Because you make zero sense.

    Is your apache and mysql active.

    Why using ports?

    It should be http://localhost/directory structure/config.php

    Or even better tweak the hosts file and redirects etc so that

    yoursite.loc/appdata/config.php

    I like to use .loc to show it my local, then I can port it to my .com later, that way I can run development site .dev etc.

    I don't understand why the ports 7777 / you are looking for issues trying to manually configure it all up. Just install XAMPP and be done with it.

    I did this long ago, but it should still apply: tutorial this setting up XAMPP.

    Sidenote: you can't use preview and interact with database. Either have external website(to use preview), or export project to html5 on your local server(preview won't work here).

    I also think c2 runs files from the temp folder. The easiest is setting up external website, the second easiest is using xampp or something similiar and runnig local server.

    gdog105, don't lower your standards to clones. Build the best game you can, then use the personal license to better it.

    Your dad sounds like he has your best interests at heart.

    For me it was a no-brainer. My main concern with Peer to Peer or Hosted games, was what if host disconnects or decides not to play/ragequit, there is no game anymore. Those kind of things completely ruins multiplayer gameplay in my view. Hosted games with player created rooms are a thing of the past.

    Our games focus on privacy. Family and friends and invite only. The fact that if host disconnects is a bonus. The price structure is very good to, concidering. I see the plugin has some issues though. But the website has enough docs and code to figure it all out - I hope, will have to schedule some time.

    Player created rooms are very popular. Who wants to play with strangers that make the gaming experience not enjoyable? Private rooms rock, unless you want to use the strangers as target practice

    Both have merit however, depends on end project.

  • Well then, if its so great and cutting edge, i can't wait to see some multiplayer games actually being released.

    For now, all i see is people can't connect to each other properly. I think this multiplayer plugin was implemented way to early. I dont care how cutting edge it is, or how advanced if its not working in general for most users/players.

    I understand your concern. It is a valid issue, especially when about to embark on a large scale project. I know of 4 big games that have moved from c2 to unity based on justifiable concerns.

    But, we still develop based on the future promise of what is going to be possible or hold off till it is.

    Think star wars starting 3, 4, 5 because he didn't have tech to do 1, 2, 3

    Okay, lame example, but there are thousands of cases.
