That's not really what I'm concerned about. Safari crashing is symptom. The problem is that a webpage built in Construct 2 doesn't load in Safari. I don't think it's wrong for me to want a website I built in C2 to be viewable on iOS devices, as advertised.

You haven't made a reference to the two examples I posted, so I feel like you are dismissing this issue, because you misunderstood the problem. Why would one example consistently load in Safari and the other won't load, when they both have the same assets and events? Something in the first example is preventing it from loading in Safari.

Without a capx it is impossible to problem shoot. I suggest you open a bug report, attach a capx file and exactly how to reproduce the issue (if it is a bug, then you should be able to).

Check you error logs, I noticed you had an error on your examples... (not c2 related, but server related)

actually says from 18 to 27 September at Shadok but im guessing that's the live meeting /presentation ! until then u have a lot of time for submission as its on that french page, however ... why is it in french ? is going to be held in France? is it only for France ? or world wide? is ambiguous ... cause says world wide submissions, and then limits the page only to French talking people! weird!

[quote:27orb3ut]The entries for this edition, is open until July 15, 2015 at midnight.

Winners will be announced after 26th sept.

Haven't a clue, it was english, now the whole thing is in french???

  • This also will break a ton of privacy laws, and would require TOS agreements from all forum users. No thanks.

  • From what I understand, it is what is on desktop (veiwable) so shouldn't be a problem.

They don't show all 100,000 frames at once

  • Tokinsom,

Not that I think is an issue for you, but nice to know that windows has a 10,000 object limit. Sounds like a lot, and 10,000 is a lot, but a lot less than you think. Especially when it comes to games. What other applications you got open when you running preview? It all adds up.

But it could be anything really.

  • i read all four or so multiplayer tuts, but they didnt mention the signaling server costing anything. what happens if we use the signaling server without buying this? also if we own .com domains, can we use that as a signaling server? can any .com domain we own also be used as a dedicated server so that no player has to host the game? or is there something more to signaling servers and/or hosting servers than simply owning and paying for a .com domain?

Scirra offers a free signalling server which you connect to.

This is if you want to host your own, but in all honesty. Scirra have a better server set up than we could put together. So use scirra's signalling server. All it does in the end is connect the parties together.

  • I can vouch for SSD. I got one a few months ago. No jokes 10 times performance increase. Photoshop loads in a second. PC boots in under 3 seconds. Haven't had a single software crash of any kind.

When they say its the single best upgrade you can do for your pc, it is the truth. I am just sorry I didn't do it ages ago

Got the samsung with 10 year warrenty. And samsung magician keeps this drive purring.

  • I believe cache is off in preview as it caused a number of issues awhile back. Either ashley fixed that issue cause I haven't noticed any lingering sprites etc. Or it is still switched off. This means you are downloading game fresh each time. Yes, you aren't downloading, but you are moving files to temp etc etc etc.

I don't know the process, but I think node preview might have to build the game each time during preview.

  • This is really fantastic

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads

Iv used a video to export my game with Intel XDK which has a preview option with examples of how it would look on different devices.

Some features like export to HTML5 websites do work on Construct 2 free version so maybe some others work.

Trying to bypass the free version limitations can only end badly.

  • in general my game runs better on much slower mobile, but with CocoonJS,

than on my destop with Chromium.

Wow, how old is your pc? So you are saying your slower mobile is outperforming your pc, something must be wrong.
