Thank you, but its more about the principle and honestly just really really common sense. Flat shaped 2 dimensional common sense. Agrarian 11th century glory to the king like

7.5 minutes is JUST RIGHT. lemme touch grass now

Imagine if your operating system popped up with a warning that you've been working for 2 hours

Imagine if in the middle of a movie, Netflix interrupted you that you've been watching for 2 hours

Imagine if Photoshop asked you to stop using the software because it determined you're using it too much

The feature on Construct 3 while I understand is well intended, causes way more frustration than help. It also dissolves trust that popups are important so users will X popups more often considering them irrelevant

These are basic UX practices and it saddens me deeply that they made it into the final product

  • What a nice exchange!

Guys you could also use Clear Rectangle to rgb 0,0,0

instead of pasting destination out. same fx

My canvas is zoomed in and my character walks around so it shifts, idk how to erase like you guys do.

  • The bugginess turns out is because I used to track colission between a sprite in a 2D layer with no parallax vs a 3D layer object

Overlap detection works better now since I use 3D layers for both

  • I'm using the project example First-Person Platformer.

Every time I do collision testing between my mouse and an object, it uses the collision surface that is 2 dimensional and its not always constant if I move the object to a lower or high Z height.

Is there a simple way to detect my mouse is clicking on top of a 3D object wherever I click on it, say a tall rectangle, if I click on near the top or down below while looking at it from the side, it registers it?

I can't also solve moving objects in the Z height and having their collisions not bug out into weird different values

  • My entire project crashes along with c3 in chrome since yesterday :(

  • In the editor, edit the object property, click in a space to unselect anything, and then press OK. That clears the object property.

That's super hidden and kind of a unintuitive UI/UX practice

  • Yeah so right now with the trigger once its doing what I presumed. But at a meta level, do you agree that "repeat 20 times" indicates that it will end afterwards?

That's just the intuitive takeaway from the wording.

  • Please help me with this one. I feel very dumb right now. Cosmically so.

But doesn't the expression REPEAT 20 TIMES indicate that it repeats 20 times and then ends?

Is the use case for REPEAT 20 times and then repeat again so frequent and logical that it justifies avoiding using the expression like it is intuitive?

I can't even think of a use case for just repeat without Trigger once before it.

But as I already established I may be profoundly stupid.

  • I tried the spherize built in effect but I need the reverse of that :(

basically something that makes it seem you are there. I have a lot of 360 photos I shoot them professionally and would love to have this in C3

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!
