  • I'm trying to create a system of physics movement where you click and drag, and depending on how much you drag, the character will be launched in that direction. Currently I am stuck on trying to figure out exactly how to do that. Can someone help me?

  • I mean backtrack is in move back through previous screens

  • How would I trigger the end of a section? Because I want the player to also be able to backtrack through sections but if I use a collision for that then it just moves to one point and not back.

  • I want to make a game in similar vein to I Wanna Be The Guy, and I want to make the entire game just one large level split up into individual screens similar to that game. so when my character gets to the end of each screen, the camera moves to the next screen. but I want to be able to move between screens instead of just making a new layout for each screen. How would I do this?

  • Thanks for the help! It works perfectly now!

  • Ok, so I am making a clicker game. And I have this character on screen that dances. I want to make it so that when I press a button then a frame of his animation plays. is there a way I can do this?

  • The reason I don't want it overlapping is because the way I made the spear to deal damage is that if a zombie collides with it while its doing a certain animation, then they lose hitpoints. However if they overlap, the damage can be dealt to almost all of the zombies since they are in the same place. That makes the game way too easy and isn't fun to play.

  • Try Construct 3

  • I am making a zombie survival game with large amounts of enemies, however they all use the same pathfinding technique and slowly merge into eachother. I have tried to make them collide with eachother but that glitches it out. Any ideas?

  • Yeah that's the idea

  • I also have platforming on the player object so it knows when its on the ground and I have a solid behavior on the other object. I tested it without the solid or the platforming and it didn't work.

  • Yeah I did. as you can see in the first image, the collision polygon is fitting the shape. albeit a little jagged, but I'm fine with that.

  • So I set the collision for an object in my physics game to "collision polygon". But when the player collides with it, it collides with the bounding box of the object instead. Any ideas on how I could fix this?
