Greeting Construct 2 users,

In my game, the player have 3 chances (lives). When the player loses the game, 1 chance is subtracted from the text object named "txtChances", then a box appears on the screen with a "Restart" button to restart the level. If the player clicks "Restart" the layout will restart. But unfortunately, when the player clicks the restart button, the Global variable that controls the number of chances that the player has will also restart and the player will regain his 3 chances every time that he or she loses. How can I make the number of chances decrease each time that the player loses without resetting the value of the Global variable when the player click the restart button to restart the level?

Among the list of codes that you give me do you know if there is a code that allows the player to play Tic-Tac-Toe against the CPU and not against another human player?

I just want to understand something:

When Scirra is saying that Construct 2 will " be retired on July 1st, 2021" what they really mean? That after July 1st, 2021 all the video games that were created with Construct 2 will no longer work when you will try to play with it online? Or this simply means that Scirra will no longer sell the Construct 2 software on their website and only Construct 3 will be available?

When the three blue squares are visible I want the current song to stop (the song tagged Level1) and then the new song to play (the song tagged VictorySong). But unfortunately, it doesn't work correctly. When I test the game the song makes a weird noise. By looking at my Event sheet can you tell me what's wrong?:

I have two Text-To-Speech Softwares (NaturalReaders and Balabolka) and I want to use one of that two software to give a voice to my characters in my game. I would like to know if Scirra can provide voices that I can use to give a voice to my characters or if someone knows the URL address of a website where I can access a library of voices that I can add to my "NaturalReaders" or "Balabolka"?

I have found a solution who is easier. I have placed a horizontal object that forces the spaceship to stop at the distance that I want. Thank you for your help anyway.

I have tried the code in a different manner and it's still doesn't work the spaceship doesn't stop at the distance indicated in the code (1950).
