  • Hello Everyone,

    I have recently started working with Construct2 and I have created a little prototype of a game I had in mind.

    I tried drawing all assets myself, but the borders from the around text and stuff, has been from public domain content at opengameart.org.

    It would be great if you guys would like to give it a try and let me know what should be fixed and/or added in the next versions!

    So far I think the timer that ends the round should be removed because it seems to kill the flow of the game a little.

    Also because I had some issues with the sound, there is no sound at the moment.

    Either way, I'd love to hear what you guys think.

    Yeah, I have a CC though but it got blocked cuz i was drunk when I tried to buy it and I failed to spell my info right 3 times.

    It's unlocked by now so I'' just use CC if I decide to buy it. Thanks for the response!

  • I tried the admob one that comes with C2 but never managed to get it working. Then I switched to Cocoon.IO's admob plugin and that worked for me, might be worth giving a try?

  • As far as I know they only work on mobile by using banner ads or interstatial. There is usually ads on the website which shows your game which you could use to monitize but then you got to host the website yourself instead of for example Miniclip

    Add a tag when playing the sound, that way you can add in a check whether the sound is already playing, before playing it again.

    Here's an example for C2, but you should be able to do the same thing in C3

    Without the tag check, you can continually click for a new sound, but with it in clicking will only generate a new sound when the old sound is finished.

    mhmm ill give it a try, I wonder though, isn't there an option to stop music? so I play it, after 0.3sec I stop the sound before it shoots another bullet so it will sound like a loop?

    If I use a sound that has the full clip firing it can only be used if u hold the shoot button, and if you release it it should stop again otherwise it would keep sound like its firing even if you shoot 1 bullet.
