  • ahr Ech You, sir, make the rest of us look bad.

  • It reminds me of one of the ninja characters from the Samurai Showdown or Samurai Spirits fighting games. Probably Hanzo hattori or something... sorry, wish I could give ya specifics, but those games have some great swordplay combos.

  • If they go through with that terrible idea (also, the next Halo game gets canceled and all Madden fans die painfully of a virulent space plague), people might actually stop buying their systems.

    .... probably.

  • This might be a little off subject, but from what cryptic information I've gathered from the few releases I've read, it sounds like you may have to have a game registered to your online account to play it. Meaning, you can't lend games to friends, rent from Gamefly, etc.

If that's true (which I doubt will get through in the end), and they'd let DRM stomp on their own customers, I don't hold out much hope for their future indie support.

  • This is so adorable, it hurts!

(I am weak to cute-type. IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!))

Rest assured I'm gonna spread the word as far as I can.

  • You have no idea how much I am diggin' these visuals! Projects like yours are the reason why indie gaming is revitalizing the industry.

That is looking slick as hell, mate!

What program do you use for your graphic editing?

I've been working on the in-game menus and the junk items you find treasure hunting, and I just thought this was funny.

I know you can't really tell much of the game from screenshots, but the idea to depict entire game as cave paintings is brilliant!

You are an angel. I'd never even heard of opengameart!

I'm not really going for a steampunk look, though I don't really want it to look too much like a generic fantasy one either. Something like the second Fable game or the later Discworld books.

I think you're right though. If I can add some victorian or art deco accents here and there, it might give it a more unique look.

A Gob Hound from Super Awesome. Originally, it was just gonna be part of one the first puzzles, but the more I look at it... the more attached I get to the cute lil' bastard.

What sort of perspective are you thinking about in-game?
