Not to highjack, but I figured I should ask, how is the income from monetizing on Kongregate? Is it worth submitting games to if you only currently have 1 or 2 games ready to publish? Or is it a platform that doesn't really do you much good unless you have a large catalogue of games to submit?

If there is not going to be an else there, you can also move the is Alive check to the top level as well.

You could also use one sprite object and just have each of the "enemies" be different animations on that sprite. Other than that, Families are really the way to go.

I would look for the official forum thread for the plugin. Scirra did not create the plugin, so asking the plugin author is a much better bet.

L3mon You have to make sure you set the build option to Release build and also get it from the right directory, the debug and release builds go to different directories.

I believe the leadbolt plugin may not work with CocoonJS, but would be happy if anyone could prove me wrong...
