  • I have a sprite that is huge at first time. so I set his ratio scale to minimise his height. But When I do this, my sprite had alliasing. I tried by reducing it before put the sprite in construct but it appears the same problem. Can someone explain me how we have to fix allising of or spriters? what's the advice for a weight of a png picture before putting it on construct?

    Depending on what style you want to play, you can change some settings in the project properties, try the same sprite with a new project, choosing "new retro style project" which defaults to these settings and test your sprite.

    Alternatively, you can work with an external program before importing them, but you need to use a resize to scale to add / remove pixels without blending them. are specific options for the most popular programs like photoshop, paint shop pro, gimp ..

  • Problem 1: When playtesting on PC my progress bar colors all change accordingly (ex. red for health). When exporting or play testing on my phone's browser the color remains the standard blue. Is this something that can be fixed or do I have to make custom progress bars to get the color I want?

    Problem 2: Again, when playtesting on my pc browser button sizes all look correct, then when exporting the buttons look cut in half or skewed in size.

    Any help or suggestions would be great! Thank you.

    the request is too general. you can at least know how you did the whole thing, maybe with a .capx sample file, and then where did you export it and how ..

  • have you tryed to change "object name" of the image?

  • maybe im not understanding the problem, but if you have an animation for shooting with both hands, you only have to assign two different image points for bullets spawn and sinchronyze thems with corresponding animation frames

  • Problem Description

    I'm trying to get video to play in my game that is exported with Phone Gap Build but it does not work on devices with iOS 11, nothing is shown. It works on earlier versions of iOS though. It also works when I publish it as a HTML5 website and try it on my iPhone with iOS 11 Safari, but I need it to work as a Cordova exported app!

    I guess it's the same as this? https://github.com/Scirra/Construct-3-bugs/issues/895

    It seems to have been fixed in Construct 3 r61, but not in Construct 2?

    • Export as Cordova.
    • Build with Phone Gap Build.
    • Install on device with iOS 11.
    • Try to play the video.

    Observed Result

    Nothing happens.

    Expected Result

    Video should play.

    i think is'n not a bug, try to move your .mp4 file into "Video" folder, then export the project. should be work.

    Here you go. This is basically what dop2000 mentioned earlier.

    I increased the width of the layout so you have more room to actually see the shots. Also, I'm destroying the bullets when they travel at least the minimum distance between bullets outside of the layout. Because we need the last bullet to be alive in order to calculate when to spawn the new one.

  • ok i found now work. simply move the video file from "Files" to "Video" folder on the project directories on the right of the editor (exporting thei make the "Media" subfolder on nw.js project directory)

    don't forget to put the name on the video propoerties too

    and, last thing, if you have set "autoplay yes" i think is useless call it on start of layout events
