    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Just trying play it.

    Observed result:

    All of a sudden, the following error appears:

    I just added some new animations to the project

    what could that possibly be? :(

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: yes

    IE9: Works fine

    Firefox: Works fine

    Operating system & service pack:

  • pcfernandesjr - Maybe try leaving the water a flat colour and just randomly spawning a wave animation? Would be pretty simple to do and would add some dynamics to the scene as well - here's a rough animated gif in case that didn't make sense...

    I was working on something like that. But I like most the idea of the waves appearing and disappearing, like you did, mine was more like an static set of small waves spreaded around the sea going from left to right.

    I'll work on the cave and the waves idea later at home. Thanks for the help bro! =)

    pcfernandesjr - That doesn't suck at all :) The only thing that I would maybe change is the lighting on the cave - it seems a little inconsistent with the light source. I hope you don't mind - I've done a really quick paint over to show you what I mean...

    No problem at all fellow, that was a great suggestion. I have a lot of difficulty with lightning, heheh

    other thing that bothers me is that I couldn't develop a nice and simple texture for water, just like a managed to do with the grass.

  • So I, along with a friend, created this simple Drum app with C2

    First thing was how impossible is to make it run in some devices. I tested it with:

    PC: Lots of trouble with loading images and sound effects, cache issues (old assets being loaded instead of new ones), black screens...after some tries, it worked.

    Ipod 5: Runs really great

    Ipad 1 and Iphone 3G: Really laggy. Chrome and Safari Crashes all the time.

    Nokia Lumia 720 and Samsung Galaxy Y: Laggy as well

    Android Tablets (I don't know wich model exactly, friends of mine have tested and worked fine)

    But the thing that disappointed me the most was exporting the project to iOS

    With a help of a friend, I exported the app using phonegap. The result was an app with a poor response time, really laggy. There`s no condition to release something like that on App Store.

    Now my friend is taking the assets to another acquaintance of us to develop it in X Code.

    It is very frustrating to dream about being capable of creating and releasing games and apps with Construct 2, only to reach this results at the end.

    I'd like to ask for orientation. There`s a better way to properly export a project for mobile? Why does all these issues happen?

  • Uninstalled and re-installed the version 199 several times. Even the version 123 is presenting the same problem.

    Now I uninstalled and restarted my notebook, deleted the C2 folder with the remaining files. I'll try to install it again.

    EDIT: Ok,guys, problem solved! It were a matter of complete stupidity from my part. I normally work with my notebook plugged with a monitor, extending the desktop. But now i'm just using the notebook screen, and in spite of using the single screen option, the new object pop-up was opening off-screen.

  • Guys, I need your help.

    Every time I try to insert a new object, Construct2 freezes. It started happening just now, out of nowhere.

    Any suggestions about how to procede?

    Last thing I did was downloading and opening the .capx: dl.dropbox.com/u/67034121/scirra%20construct2/New%20folder.rar

    I already tried opening other .capx, creating new projects, restarting my notebook, but nothing works. I?m using the version 119, and just tested the last 123 beta released. same result.

  • Hi guys! I'm really glad to see that are people playing and enjoying Tinysaur!

    First of all, I'd like to thank you guys for the attention and suggestions. I'm keeping note of all problems that are being reported and working on it.

    About the power-up sugestion, don't worry, that is a feature already planned to be in the game. The little Tiny will be able to defend itself and the eggs from its enemies pretty soon!

    One of my greatest challenges is to add features within the 100 event limit that the free license grants me. I'll try to implement at least an level selection hud, and a way to keep recorded the hi-score of every stage. One of my desires with the game is to bring two feelings: The satisfaction of beating your previous scores, and the desire of complete the stages perfectly.

    I just uploaded an updated version of the game. The topic was also updated with the link and the development progression. I revised the enemy behaviors, adjusted Tiny's speed a bit, and now every stage is with the tileset applied.

    Once again, thank all of you very much for the attention!
