  • Has anyone else noticed that none of the game on the arcade work anymore?

  • Gweely I am using a Galaxy S2 (Default browser), iPhone 4 (Safari), Windows7 laptop (Firefox) and a Kobo Arc (Google Chrome).

    I am using 192.168.1.70:50000

    This is the same IP that pops up in my browser during live preview.

  • Hey you,

    Are there any special settings I need to adjust, on my router, to enable WiFi preview?

    Every time I try to use it, be it cell phone or laptop, I just can't connect. I've tried changing the port but that didn't help. Any other ideas?

    This is how my preferences are set.

  • So, this is what I came up with Ashley, vee41, I don't see a difference but I think that is mostly because I have a constant 60fps. I tried spawning 1000 objects and making them fly around but still no drop in fps. I will have to compile a mobile version and test it on my phone. Seeing as wifi preview doesn't work since I switched routers.

    Anyways, here is what my events look like now. Is this correct?

    I have been looking the forums and tutorials but I haven't found anything that applies to me, just yet. Or maybe I don't fully understand. Anyways, I have a scrolling back that moves +6 pixels every tick.

    I would like to do the same but with deltaTime. There doesn't seem to be an event for it. Any help?

  • Create a solid coloured sprite and place it right over the view point. Set its opacity to like 10%. This should give the desired effect.

  • I would use instance variables over an Array. And everything has suggested.

  • Check your browser security settings. You may not be allowing the game to save data locally.

    I have been thinking about this all night and I have come to the conclusion I will need to make my own sort-of way-point system. I will take a look at the above example and another example I found on here.

    Okay, I think I am explaining this poorly.

    I want to draw a path right in my layout, several paths actually, then have the enemy randomly pick one of those paths and follow it until the end. Is this possible?

  • I am having a little trouble understanding the Pathfinding feature.

    How do I actually create the path?

    I have added the behaviors and events to follow a path when found... but there are no paths?

    I searched on the tutorial and forum section.

  • adc1980 Thank you, your linked helped with the pathing. I still need to figure out how to spawn a group of enemies and make them follow each other. Blarghh....!
