  • Normally Clay.io would connect to the leaderboards and update them as necessary or pull data or whatever. But, because there is no internet, Clay.io can't establish a connection. In that case Clay.io is just sitting there waiting for a connection. The only way to fix this would be to first detect if there is a stable internet connection or to have Clay.io timeout after trying to connect for x amount of seconds.

I haven't used Clay.io so I am not sure if this is something you the developer has to implemented or something that's not been added by the Clay.io developer.

  • I'll be damned. That actually worked. Lord only knows why I have wasted time on signing and aligning, I was sure that was required.

    Anyway, thanks guys

    Good to hear!

Thanks, I am compiling using XDK (Crosswalk). Not sure I understand what you mean with "will have to sign in with Google Play keys". Sign in to Intel XDK..? Meaning I need to log in to XDK with my Google developer account..?

No. Simply compile your project and upload it to Google Play.

  • The black screen, this is because you can use third party plugins or from Scirra pathfinding, for example.

Can or cant? I don't use Plugins anyway.

  • If you use cloud sync you should be able to access your project across all devices.

  • Yea, and I got the same results. All well, it's not important right now any way.

  • The focus of my post was to figure out why the Android compiler just leaves my game with a black screen.

  • Upload your capx.

  • Tried changing your renderer to WedGL?

  • I was testing out the different compilers on the Intel XDK and for some reason I can't get the Compile for Android to work correctly. It accepts my files and makes the apk but the apk just stays at a black screen.

If I use Crosswalk everything works fine but my 500kb game jumps up to 19megs lol.

Do you have any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

  • I tried cocoonJS and size became 7MB from 19MB that's good part

but cocoonJS added 3 second intro of ludei and seems there's no option to remove it.

If cannot remove that's really joke lol

I'd prefer to pay rather than having 3 seconds of other brand intro in my game.

I wouldn't worry about this too much right now. You still need to make a game first.

  • I am having trouble with my 9patch. I created a box with 9patch and then added some sprites above it. At first they didnt appear so I set them both on the same layer and changed the Z-order, so 9patch is now on the bottom and my sprites are on top. Unfortunately, still nothing. I moved my sprites half way out of the 9patch and they were visible. It's like C2 refuses to let my sprites go on top of 9patch.

    Any help?

    Thank You,

    Stephen
