  • Have you tried the nth touch action of the Touch object???

I haven't. I am not sure that would even work. I keep looking around it seems like its impossible to have two different touches simultaneously.

  • Bump.

  • Bump no reply. Anyone want to help tackle this? Im at a loss.

  • Hello. Sorry to ask another question, but I am planning on having a split screen on mobile devices.

Two players interactively have to touch the screen at the same time, the problem is, how can this be done if whoever touches the screen first uses the input touch, when the other person touching input is ignored?

EX: Player 1 touches screen first, player 2 touches screen second, player 1 is in control of the game because they touched first and only one input can be recorded at one time.

Is there a way I can get around this issue?

    Thanks for helping. (:

  • Wella. I did a test and shown result in text box.

    Works like a charm. Kinda... <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle">

  • I got a huge question.

I haven't been able to figure this out, maybe someone is willing to help.

When you use the touch event, and slide your finger across the screen on a phone, I would like the "score" to be a direct correlation with how long the slide was or how fast the slide was.

The catch is, I only want it to follow the Y Axis - Slide on X Axis does not count.

    EX:

Person slides their finger on screen on the Y Axis, the system knows that they slid 30 pixels without letting their finger off, add 30 to players score.

    Is this possible?

  • You need to use "on collision" , as this only triggers once...

Yeah I found that out, thanks for all the help.

  • I am using is overlapping. Where do I find "On overlap".

    Thanks for the help.

  • Hello.

Is there a way where I can count only one score if two sprites overlap one another?

EX: I got two sprites, and I got a touch event, and if one of the sprites touch/ overlap the other sprite, and I tell the program to add 1 to score if they overlap, and stay overlapping... but it just keeps adding 1 to score every tick. Is there a way I can stop that from happening?

    Thanks for the help.

  • Oh my, nice!

Never thought it was that simple.

So with all of the above credentials, I can make a public high scores for everyone to view?

  • Did you search in the tutorial section ?

I have. It has nothing with API in it. Just uploading it to Kongregate. Sadly.
