  • You would need to use node-webkit full screen for a start. You would also need software running to capture keyboard input such as control alt del or alt F4 on the pc. Also you may need to disable other keys such as the Windows key.

  • Are you refering to the fact that PMs just seem to sit in the outbox and dont show as being sent. Well they dont show on mine anyway. Hard to know whether they have gone.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Not looked at the multiplayer stuff yet, but i am assuming Node-webkit is supported ?

  • I wonder what the typical bandwidth requirements would actually be for a popular game.

  • i had hoped thet the minify problem when exporting my project to Node would have been fixed in this version, sadly not.

  • You could use CSS to hide the box though, spawn it and destroy it when required or move it into position from outside the visible area.

  • I think anyone who is even half serious about producing games for all platforms would want a native exporter for that platform. I am also sure the same people would be happy to pay extra for that product too. Companies have to change direction all the time to ensure they grow and provide the services/ products that keep the customers happy.

My thought is that C2 is a fantastic tool and has opened up the possibilities for me to make games and i would happily pay extra for greater flexibility.

I would also be sad to see it missing out to other, less capable programs due to these issues.

C2 could also be used to make non games apps giving it another avenue for income.

  • The debug window can be popped out and moved onto a seperate screen.

Edit: Sorry just re-read your post re the main program. I agree

  • I like the sound of that but get the impression it only works in full screen. Could easily be wrong though.

  • Or writing machine code for the motorola 6800

  • +1

  • [quote:qm4rf1rm]I, personally, don't respond to as much stuff because of the ever-present flood of mobile-focused developers. I don't care about mobile development, mobile ad networks, or really anything about it, so that things out a percentage of threads I'll bother reading. I'm sure some others feel the same way.

I agree entirely. It seems some users want a button that says make my game for me oh and can you put ads in it and sell it for millions.

I certainly help if i can when its obvious the user has made some attempt at helping themselves first.
