  • I hope uneven grounds will be implemented in future releases. The problem is that when I create a tiledbackground with a ground graphic for the whole level (4000x768 for example) and I change its behavior to solid. The player sprite collides with the transparent, empty space of the tiledbackground. The engine should be able to recognize if the part of the tiledbackgrund is transparent or has actual graphics.

  • Thanks, it works great. So simple, I need to get used to to the simple creation of games after I tortured myself through the 3D game development <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Try Construct 3

  • Yeah, but I am not an artist and I can not accomplish this bloomy light graphic.

  • This works, but I want to set the light beam underneath another object like in the picture of my first post.

    So what to use instead of:

    <img src="http://s14.directupload.net/images/121228/endhz22z.png" border="0" />

    thanks for your help!

  • Here:

    Lightbeam.capx

    As you can see, it sets the position of all instances to the X and Y value. I want to move the object type as a whole, so the form of the light beam stays as it is.

  • Thank you!

  • Hello,

    I want to accomplish a typical 2D light beam:

    <img src="http://s1.directupload.net/images/121228/usocpgbr.png" border="0" />

    I want to move the light beam when the game progresses, so I want it to be 1 "solid" (not behavior) object. I could accomplish this with about 13 round sprites of this example:

    scirra.com/arcade/addicting-example-games/16/html5-lighting

    But when I try to move the object type Light, which contains all of these round sprites. It move all instances to the same exact position, but I want to keep the form of the lightbeam as it is.

    Can someone help me to move the whole object type or tell me a better way to create a 2d light beam?

    thanks!

  • Hey,

    I remember a tutorial to setup the UI, so that it stays on the same position of the window, while the platformer character scrolls through the whole layout, but I can't find it anymore.

    Can someone please tell me where to find it or help me with this problem?

    So far my character has a scroll to behavior, this is all.

    thanks!

  • You can get all Autodesk software for free if you are a student.

  • 3 Step Studio looks very nice, I like the UI. I would die for the black jack features in Construct 2. But I do not like the Community.

    Those graphics are stolen from Construct 2, aren't they?

  • I do not think so. We, from the other time zones, are hated outlaws :D

  • Guys, you make me depressed ?_?
