I had a major lag issue a while back but it only applied to one orientation.

I just use Incognito to test. It is annoying if your game is being used by people though because they won't see the updates straightaway.

Really keen for this. Basically stripped my app down to barebones to remove 'Memory Limit warning'.

The memory log option in CocoonJS is awesome for identifying issues with sprites.

Definitely would get a windows based OS and not a VM just like Ashley said.

Upgraded my gaming laptop to a MacBook Pro for better/easier App development and now Construct behaves strange, still useable but bugs out a fair bit.

Anyone know a place where I could get a day/night time lapse for use in a game?

I'm looking for something like this media-mcw.cursecdn.com/0/01/Day_Night.gif but something I could legally use. I'm happy to pay for it but I don't have much to spend.

Hopefully this means future construct 2 updates geared towards mobile will be focused mainly on Cocoonjs so we have a perfect partner for C2.

You will need a Mac.

CocoonJS outputs an xarchive file which has to be compiled by xcode to an IPA to send to apple. If you want any proper testing of your app you will need a Mac.

Don't want to buy a mac? Borrow one, build your entire project on a pc, borrow someones macbook for compiling and submission. I got my hands on an old iMac and voila I'm on the AppStore.

I did fall in love and later bought a MacBook and now I can complete the App process from start to finish on one device.
