  • didn't work bro!

    I tried 'trigger once' but it didn't work, and if i put it under sub event of 'On start of layout' it creates all the 121 sprites on XY 16,16.

    if you permit me i'll send my capx file in PM.

  • You can set all variables on every tick

    For example I don't that when you are applying bullet speed change but you can also do this way

    set every tick bullet speed to [global variable Speed] and change the global variable as per your selection, now it has to change the speed!

    Let me know if it works!

  • To check you can create another variable say Heart collection check

    So on first 5 collection set check=1

    if check = 0 and heart =5 then health +1 and +1 to check

    if check = 1 and heart = 10 then health +1 and +1 to check

    if check =2 and heart = 15 then health +1 and + to check

    I hope this is what you are looking for!

  • This is how you can do it!

    Create a global variable lets say Advantage or powerUp

    Condition -: The player has object or object variable has [some value]

    Keyboard press "E"

    Action -: set variable advantage random(0,9)

    Then compare PowerUp value and set conditions for each power up or advantage values

  • Well i was trying to learn how to work with arrays and used this concept on tile mapping.

    Things i have done

    Added array with 11X11 size

    on Layout width 352 and height 352

    for each xy element system will spawn sprite2 with default frame as green

    if and array xy element has value 1 then sprite2 will turn frame to violet

    and when "E" is pressed sprite2 which has frames as violet will spawn sprite 3 (orange)

    but as i run the layout after each second the fps drops off and on debug mode the object count goes to 40 thousand and more.

    What actually i am trying to do!

    Some array have value as 1 and i want system to spawn sprite3 on those array XY positions.

    It should suppose to spawn one object! I am not sure what did i do wrong as i am not a programmer and this is my first encounter with fps fall and high cpu consumption!

    But if you considering something 3D it cannot well isometric it can!

  • On any click rotate 45 anti-clock wise and by default or on start of the layout set rotate 45 degree clockwise, but instead of rotate you set angles! why do you want to rotate?

    I guess you need to proportionate your pipe spawn according to the window and layout size. check back the example again for me it goes every thing above my head!

    well if i have to do then i use a sprite image exactly size of window width and the place some image points and randomly spawn pipes on them make sure pipes are inverted when spawn on sky and if they overlap reduce the size displace to 50 or 100 pixels. Rest is continues scrolling.

  • Well i tried to sort out your problem in every manner but as per my knowledge you cannot have different animations for same sprite until you trigger something and set animation manually. but you can have different frames at the same time. Then again if can get exact logic which you are trying to put here i can be of more help. So far i cleared Sprite3 randomizing Y position issue and though the sprites change animations with every new spawn of sprite2 but they change all at the sametime.

    If this didn't suffice you please give us more insight what actually you are trying to do here.

  • Yep! heard of it, the developer has merged two kinds of gamers intrest in this game one pixel art and free to do or construct any thing(Make you're own world kinda stuff) that's what it makes addicting, did i forgot multiplayer, Play with you're friends and do whatever you fell like make castels ships arcade game box any thing can goes. That's what it makes addicting, though i have played game on iPhone and found very handy game controls. I like the game and still playing it.

    padrone me if i share similar thoughts what others have replied.

  • Werms last week i was asking same question to my self, few days back i got my answer with garage band for mac they provide some basic loop music which you can mix, however there is a draw back, resources are limited and for more i suppose you need to purchase, truly speaking i am still exploring and above all this i don't even have basic knowledge of chords and notes, a choose trial and error method here is a sample soundcloud.com/freakngamer/spooky-rock-music

    I was trying to make something for Halloween but comes unexpected and in future even planing to distribute some of the loop music to this forum members for their games, if they like! :D any music or mix i make on garage band is copyright protected by user so totally free.

    How ever i see some new references by Ugotsta, which is indeed helpful and eager to try.

    I am unprofessional in composing but if any member has request for game music, i'll try to help him. just pm me with you're requirement.
