  • Ah. Hm, well there's a lot of people on the forums looking for team members, and looking to join teams. You might want to contact them directly.

  • Any samples of your work?

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Generate object in function

    2. Choose newly created object as last event in function

    3. In that last event, manipulate new object

    Observed result:

    Objects spawn without being rotated

    Expected result:

    The new object is rotated

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: yes

    Operating system & service pack:

    Windows 7

  • People have noted experiencing similar behavior in original thread original thread

  • Good catch ramones

Ashley with that can it be reopened?

  • It would be great if we had a "example server" + "example client"

Like we do of the socket.io plugin

That would be tremendously helpful. Switching from the modded to the official plug-in would be way easier with that. Any chance of that happening Ashley?

  • Looks very useful! Is there any potential of being to access friends who are not already playing the game? Does this play nice with Cocoon?

  • That sounds like a very cool approach to releasing a game! It'd feel more like you were interacting with a real-world if you had to come back in a week because a bridge was out or something. It'd be cool if you could tally what decisions people are making, and update the world based on what the majority of people do too, though that could get pretty difficult!

  • Usually you want to go to the "How do I...?" subforum for these sorts of questions. This is more of a "LFG" type of subforum.

You can set the X & Y of an object with an action. Just put those variables to whatever the center of your screen is (window size/2)

  • Steps to reproduce:

    1. Put array in family

    2. Change layouts

    3. Try to print array data

    Observed result:

    Array is empty (prints 0)

    Expected result:

Array prints what was stored on it

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: yes/no

    Firefox: yes/no

    Internet Explorer: yes/no

    Operating system & service pack:

    Construct 2 version:

    r120.2

  • Yeah you're right adagar, the array disappears (array.count = 0) when you switch layouts or restart the same layout.

ramones and... I assume that's not the behavior it's *supposed* to have?

It doesn't seem to clear it out if it's not part of a family...
