  • When it works properly offline.

    I just worked on a project when my WiFi suddenly cut off, resulting me cannot preview my project. Alright so I restarted the editor, but still no dice. When I restarted Chrome, Construct just stuck on loading screen.

    Okay I know I should've seen the notification "Construct is ready to be used offline" yadda yadda but I only seen that notification only once when I first used the app, and now it's nowhere to be seen. There's not even an easy solution, like a button to redownload whole necessary files maybe? Why can't it possible? Does Ashley have 100% confidence that every Chrome installs is reliable for Construct to run offline and when issue happens, he would just shift the blame on Chrome or my browser cache?

    So in my ideal world the software itself is fine for what it is, but I hope Construct would find independence from its reliance on third party.

    I can load the sample just fine without error but it's still not showing up... even if I search the name.

  • I'm publishing to HTML5 format to distribute the files locally. So basically my game assets are bare open for anyone to see and edit.

    Is there a way where I can check my assets file integrity so in case someone modify the file, my game would refuse it? Like a simple MD5 file checking will do.

    I'm aware for other options like using wrapper, but I'm not going to use it in this case.

  • I don't really understand what you mean by 'using this at an object which is a plugin'. Are you using some other plugin that doesn't come as standard with C2?

    Maybe best if you provide your .capx for us to see what you are referring to, if possible.

    Sorry I can't upload with this capped internet I'm on.. yes it's not a standard C2 object. It has no "set scale" function.

    I'm asking if you can modify your example but with Set Width and Height function to produce similar result.

    Yes, thank you zenox98 ! But I realized that I'm using this at an object which is a plugin, and it doesn't have "Set Scale" function. So I need to achieve this with "Set Width" and "Set Height"... could you help me with this?

  • Was about to inquiry about a bug in "Is motion playing" to find out this plugin is already unsupported

    Well yeah, they really don't want you to redistribute their SDK in any form. Live2D is not for skeletal animation anyway, there are better tools suited for that. Live2D is mainly used to display animated interactive portraits.

    Just wondering could you rexrainbow make it like you only distributes the plugin without the SDK?

  • I have an object that looks at my cursor direction in Mouse.X and Mouse.Y position. But currently it's way too fast, so I want to ease it a bit. Any idea how do I apply an "easing" effect to the MouseX and MouseY value?

    Note: as this object is interacting within a plugin I cannot apply an easing behavior to the object, I need to ease the parameter.
