  • You know how those retro games like Megaman, make the enemies flash white or red when they get shot for a brief period of time or like once?

Has anyone done this, or have any tricks on doing this?

Or is it not possible yet.

  • We're considering changing our game's name.

    Any suggestions will be good!

Whiteclaws I saw your post on TIGSource :) thanks man!

  • It's looks amazing :) good work. Haven't seen anyone try this before!

  • Haha, try not to use that demo, it's really bad. Also, I'd like for people to wait for some updated game play videos etc.

    Thanks!

  • Whiteclaws What for? If it's important I could actually get a newer version.. maybe!

  • OrangeTapioca

Hey man, I'd like to thank you with all my sincerity and heart. I freakin' love you. You're the first person to contribute :) thank you.

Whiteclaws That's Malfozzo, he's my favorite character! Haha, we have T-Shirts as perks on our campaign. Please do check it out, and thanks for the zoom in xD

We have went ahead with the Indiegogo Campaign, please help me fund the game, and/or share the page around so that we can get funds to hire extra help on illustrations, animation and sound!

We're working on the video for the campaign now. But please do feel obliged to help out a fellow Construct 2 project!

RandomFellow You can help spread this!!

  • RandomFellow wow.. That's really nice to hear. We're really pumped about the project, we don't have that much attention or following now, but these kind of comments really keeps we going ya know. Thanks man!!

  • Blacksmith ahh, like our facebook page! It'll be much more updated!

  • sman118 Thank you for appreciating the art! This is the second attempt at a city background, so I'm glad you like it! Previously it was too bright and there wasn't good enough contrast between background and foreground. We haven't taken any game play footage yet, but we will next week. We need to prepare a video for our campaign!

mineet ah, that's okay! We'll keep the Scirra community as updated as we can as well. I was planning on writing a blog, but I think that would waste some development time! Facebook is just convenient.

Soybean thank you! That's good to hear, it looks like a great game. I really do hope we'll gain some support through it!

  • pixel perfick Thank you very much for the nice, punny comment!

OrangeTapioca I'll hold you to that man! I'll probably being doing an Indiegogo campaign starting within the next few days :) I really do hope we'll get valuable support from that.

(pardon me for the bad English, and the monotonous voice!)

Will try to do better in any future attempts xD

Hey everyone, I posted about my game "Go Go Monkey Squad" awhile back. Initially it was planned to be a simple game with 4-5 levels, but we've decided to go all the way with the game, and invest more time and resources into this project.

I brought the game to Casual Connect Asia, going person to person and showcasing the game, hoping to find a publisher, we're still working on that - but it's looking good!

    Screenshots of the game..

Right now, the game is being done with no funds whatsoever, we're working from a small little office in Singapore. We're looking into going for Crowdfunding, but we're in Asia, so Kickstarter is off the table - sadly. What does everyone think of IndieGoGo? and if we do a campaign, would anyone here really be interested in supporting it? :)

Well, that's one of our options, we could really work for free, but we want to outsource our music and some illustration work, and get a Scirra Business License.

For now, if you'd like to support the game, all I ask is you keep up with our progress from our Facebook page.

    LONG STORY SHORT

Anyone interested in creating 8-bit or retro-style music for the game?

Anyone interested in supporting a IndieGoGo Campaign for our ambitious project?
