  • Ah, thanks.

    I can now understand how it works very well. So, I will just reply to that email, asking for removing my game.

    Anyways, thanks again for answering my questions ;)

  • <font color=red>I don't normally export games on the arcade but I do on Kongregate or I use google drive to test them. I'm assuming if it works on those then it should be fine on Arcade</font>

    Well, I don't know, but that's wrong.(At least for me)

    I have noticed that some games work properly on Dropbox or Google drive, but not on the Arcade. I dot know why this happens.

    BTW, sometimes using different browser solves this problem for me. ATM, I cannot play any Arcade games in Chrome, but most games work fine on Firefox. Again don't know why! :D

  • Hi there.

    Well, I came back after a while, and noticed that we can now submit games to Appbackr.

    Well, I was kinda curious to see how it worked, so I just went and submitted one of my games. I really didn't want to do so, I was just doing it to get familiar with the steps.

    Anyways, when it was submitted, I was expecting to receive a link or a code or something like that, but I actually didn't. All I got, was a message, saying that my game is successfully submitted! I am a bit confused. As I said, I didn't really want to do that, since that game was just a small educational project.

    Now the Appbackr support has emailed me, saying that my game isn't working properly (As I was expecting). But they again didn't give me any link or something like that.

    I also checked the Appbackr.com to see if I can check my game and probably remove it, but I cannot login with my Scirra username/email/password (Is that natural?!).

    So I was wondering if anyone could help me with this? How do I remove my game? How do I enter this Appbackr website? Is it possible to manage your Appbackr games via Scirra? I also heard that people can actually sell games on Appbackr but I didn't see such ability, how does it work really?!

    [Thanks in advance, and sorry for any possible errors]

  • O well, thanks for answering.

    But, I was curious to know, can I create these convolution audio files myself?

    And how do I find the specific convolution effect for my sound?! I mean, there are billions of audio files in the world, how can I find the proper one?!!

  • Hi.

    ===

    Well, I have been trying to add a convolution effect to some audio files in my project, but I can't!

    You know, I have checked C2's example about audio effects before, and I know that I need something like a void (Empty) audio file to create this effect, but I don't know how to get this void audio file.

    So, any help would be appreciated. Can anybody give me that audio file which is used for creating convolution effect?

    ===

    And by the way, I just noticed that an example of a RTS game is finally created by C2 developers and is available in r137 examples .

    Unfortunately, I still use r132 and cannot download the newer version because of my low speed connection.

    So... I was wondering if anybody could give me that file? I'm really curious to see it.

    Thanks for reading

    [Sorry for my bad English]

  • Well, all of enemies act in the same way as long as they use similar actions.

    So, you can create 2 types of enemies and define different conditions and actions for them, or you can define different actions for the enemy and then set the enemy to randomly choose one of the actions?

  • Well, I can think of 2 ways:

    1. Open C2 and check "Lighting" example

    2. Create a very big black sprite with a hole in it. And then pin the sprite to player

  • I guess this behavior will be useful for you?

    Link:

    scirra.com/forum/behavior-runaway-sprite_topic53232.html

  • Well, if you are using platform behavior, then you can just design your background and then add this event:

    Every tick -> Set player.angle to platform.angle

    This is all I can think of.

  • Try Construct 3

    Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

    Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • As long as I can remember, yes, this is expected.

    But you can still mark some objects as "obstacle", so they will be treated as solids by pathfinder object.

  • If it's a .capx, rename it to .zip and extract it. Now you have a folder based project.

    Create an empty image file with the name it says is missing, and the project should open.

    Wow thanks!! It worked!! Thanks again!

    I have had this also, luckily i just reloaded an older save and lost 20 mins of work...

    I think it's looking for a temp directory that your project is stored in when editing, If you have system cleaning software sometimes this can delete files in this directory I believe, do you not have a recent back up, to go back to?...

    Well, no. I didn't really do anything special. Unfortunately I didn't have copies of it but luckily, I could have it back, special thanks to Ashley!! <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • But I have exactly no idea about what the problem is! And besides, I cannot even edit the project nor rearrange it, since I can't open it.
