  • Please help me guys! Or at least give me a conclusion about what the problem is/might be!

  • Well, I cannot understand what you mean exactly.

But anyways, you can use groups. To make a group, right click on event sheet and chose add group. Then simply drag events to the group.

You can always enable/disable groups, during the game.

i think this will solve your problem.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Hi all, first of all, I wasn't sure if this was a bug, or just a simple error. So I'm posting it here.

Well, the problem is that when I try to open one of my projects, this error appears:

    Error loading project

    ---------------------

    Failed to open project

    \\?\C\Users\...

Cannot find object texture fie "Player_tank_smog" in the project texture folder. Check the file has not been removed or renamed.

    Under element: c2project \ object-folder \ object-type \ line 268, column 9

The file maybe invalid. Try checking the file in a text editor (Projects are saved in XML format).

    -------------------------

    OK

    But I really didn't change/remove anything!

I was working on the project a few hours ago, saved it as usual, closed C2 as usual, went away and came back after a few hours as usual, tried to open it... and this error appeared.

    PS: I'm using C2 r126 Steam

PS 2: The address that this error shows me, doesn't exist in windows actually!! And it changes every time I try to open the project (Weird?).

Please help me, I had worked days and nights on that project, it was a nice thing really.

    [Thanks for reading]

  • Wow it's awesome and great! But it doesn't work on Chrome for me.

is there anyway to make this nice behavior work on Chrome as well?

  • This unfortunately doesn't work for me, can't figure out why!

I tested it both on Chrome and Firefox but still no positive results.

  • Wow thanks! It's so cool :D

  • Hi.

This actually seems useful but sorry, the link's dead.

    Would you please re-upload it?

  • O... That's kinda disappointing!

So I should go and update my system. Thanks for the help anyways.

  • Hi everybody.

Construct 2 had always been warning me about my graphic drivers not being up-to-date.

So I decided to go and check for updates. I did, and the company's website said "Your drivers are current".

But Construct 2 still warns me about out of date drivers and I can't run some of these webGL effects on my computer. I have tried both Chrome and Firefox but the result is the same.

So, what's going wrong here? How do I solve this?

    [Thanks for reading]

  • shinkan : Lol :D 90% of them!

Well, there's a solution for that. A specific game will be deleted only if more than 50 or 75 percent of people in "Review group" confirm that it's scrappy?

  • I do agree with you all... Well, I have a little suggestion.

A volunteer group of experienced and well-known people over forums can be made to check the scrappy games, and probably report them?

It looks a bit weird, I know, but it might work.

  • Well, some people just play the newest games, and don't care about the ratings, like me.

Besides, what's your final goal from having your game in highest rated? you want your game to be played, right?! Ok, there are other ways to achieve this.

you can share the link on your FB/GP/T account, you can email the link to your friends, advertise it on different websites and a lot more.
