Great work this year, I had a lot of fun with the 3D related SDKs. I hope that the effect compositor is now more extensible for adding things like multiple texture support (eg two different frames of animations, like a diffuse and normal map.)
Thanks for the SDK additions! Can you provide a little more details on what SetIs3D(), SetSupportsZElevation(), SetSupportsColor() enable? I understand to use iPluginInfo to enable them in plugin.js. However, I don't see common color ACEs or property added. I know of the existing color SDK methods and I see the new Z elevation methods, but what new do these new methods enable? I know I need to wait until stable docs...

You could look at using the steam web api for what you want:

Use C3 JS scripting with fetch or ajax to do this. Note the warnings, do not use any APIs from the client that require a 'key' (app auth key.)
I see, unfortunately greenworks (the library this and other C3 steam plugins are built on) does not support requesting that.
