  • Hi everyone!

    I'm looking for someone who successfully published a game on the App Store without any issue, especially on iPhoneX.

    I've been working on my Construct2 game Un Pas Fragile for several months, and now is the time to publish it on all stores (App Store, Play Store, Steam and itch.io). The thing is, I have big issues with iOS.

    I can't find any method to build the game for iPhoneX without having a black canvas surrounding the game. Here is a (bad) screen to show my problem. It is of course really important as I work with a publisher and we can't even try to be on Apple Store front with this issue.

    Actually I have tried several solutions :

    1- Building with Construct 2 -> Cordova export for iOS only -> Phonegap Build to create an .ipa.

    2- Building with Construct 3 -> Xcode project -> giving it to my publisher so they can make an .ipa out of it (I don't have a mac at home).

    None of those solutions worked but maybe I'm missing something.

    If someone could help in anyway that would be really appreciated.

  • Hello fellow devs!

    I'm using Construct 2 Cordova export combined with Ponegapbuild to publish my game on iOS (and Android).

    But I have the following errorz when I try to put the .ipa on TestFlight. I can't find a way to fix this simple issue on the C2 forum.

    To be clear, all those required icon sizes are imported in the Capx file before I export it with Cordova, and are still there after the export. And all the icons have names like "icon-120.png" or "icon-152.png" in .png format. So the problem probably comes from the config.xml file that I copy paste in the root folder before zipping it and submitting to phonegapbuild. I don't know what to modify in this xml file. Here is a screen of this file's content

    Any help would be really appreciated as I've already spent a lot of time on this problem. It is the only thing preventing my game Un Pas Fragile from being submitted to Apple.

    Actually I'm using the latest C2 version, nw.js export and Phonegap Build to create the game's APK. However I encounter a major issue: if the user is using a bluetooth headset, there is absolutely no sound coming from the game. It work perfectly with any type of wired headphones, but bluetooth seems to block all sounds. I've tried it with several android phones, including the galaxy S6 and S7.

    So... Does any of you have similar issues? Is it just a mistake from my side? Something I forget to activate?

    It would really means a lot if someone had an answer to that problem. Thanks!

    So, here is a little project I've been working on for a few weeks (in my spare time). There is not much and it's supposed to be really simple, with a decent arcade feel.

    The goal is to survive and kill a lots of aliens to increase your score.

    How to play :

    • S to modify your direction of rotation
    • D to speed up your spaceship (but it stops shooting)

    If you die, just refresh the game (sorry for that).

    I have yet to :

    • Tweak the difficulty curve of the game
    • Resolve a few bugs (like the big alien who occasionally does not appear)
    • Make all the menus screens (start, game over, etc...)
    • Polish a few things
    • Whip my friend to make him compose a music for the game
    • Maybe add some diversity (but I don't want to spend to much time on it)

    So, here is a little game I made with 2 friends for the Global Game Jam 2014. We made it within 48 hours then I spent a few more hours polishing it.
