New arcade

Hi all!

Just thought I'd share progress on the new arcade. The current one has been a bit of a victim of it's own sucess, we're really excited it's taken off so well and people enjoy using it. The new arcade is going to:

• Fix a lot of bugs that currently exist in the current one
• Give more control to authors
• Allow for larger games

We've got a lot of exciting new features planned for it as well which we hope to launch after the initial release.

I thought I'd just stop by and show you all screenshots of the design and progress. If any of you have comments, feature suggestions etc please leave them here! (I will read them all even if I don't manage to reply to them all).

The homepage games will be done in a similar fashion to Reddit using a "Hotness" rating which is based on age and votes. This gives everyone a chance to hit the front page and get lots of plays.

Hope you have a mobile-friendly version for folks who want to play games on their phones.

very cool, about how long until this is ready?

can Scirra make percent for loading games in arcade?

because, some developer don't make the loading percent/time counting so I can't see it if the game still loading or not.

And let developer for they games upload some screen shot for they games so the player can view it before play the games. :)

Just being a little picky here, but maybe would be easier for people to follow through if the images were presented in the following order:

• Arcade home
• Hovering game thumbs
• Game page
• Instructions
• Rating hover

Also I believe the game page layout is a preliminary version, the most recent is this one:

*And I just would like to add a disclaimer that the game informations and author names are just placeholders for designing purposes.

Just a couple of things to mention, Paulo (@Animmaniac) did the design work on this as usual I'm just putting it together! So you have him to thank for a large part of it :)
