    Right now, there is only one for ads (but Admob is supported). There is a brief explanation about how to use them with cordova exportations.

    The first thing I noticed after testing the exporter is that our plugin prelude is missing in the exportation (I will try to solve it later). So if you were trying to use the plugin, it won't work.

    Apart from that, after exporting, are you just compressing the folder and uploading it to the cloud? If so, that might be the problem. The cloud compiler is expecting a www folder + a config.xml file.

    I need to have a further look at this issue, but I hope this can help a little.

    In addition:

    Does anyone know if there is any way to debug this error deeper than using the "default" cocoonJS launcher console?

    You can try the "adb logcat" command for Android or the device log provided by xcode.

    Oh, and one thing more: the cordova.js file is something that cordova will add automatically to your project. Do not worry for that.

  • but you could also look into issue mentioned by gonzdevour because Ashley will not do anything about that.

    And black screen is ok for 3-4 seconds, but longer time can cause negative reactions So it would be nice if progress bar or % could work again.

    If something can be done, it will be done in the new cloud :/. However, not sure if it can be fixed, because we can't control C2 default behaviour.

    That is why I said it was just the first part of a big release . The second one will be in beta soon. It is a new cloud compiler based in cordova. Choosing execution environment will be easier than ever. Apart from that:

    • We'll provide all the functionality to forget about local compilations. Compile and sign directly in the cloud
    • Use the new atomic plugins at the cloud
    • Edit the config.xml file live from the site
    • Use Canvas+ and Webview+ in your Cordova projects

    This features are the ones you might be interested on, there are more. And all of this just in the beta. The final release will be way better .

    First of all, I finally bring good news. I would like to present you all our new Atomic Plugins.

    Really important:

    1) They are NOT specific for Canvas+ or the Webview+. They are multiplatform and, if you create a cordova project, you will be able to use them as soon as we adapt them for C2, but not yet at the cloud.

    2) Do not use the cloud. They are not yet integrated in the cloud due to this multiplatform feature and because we are planning to improve its functionality in the following weeks.

    3) This is the first part of a big release. There are features that are not finished yet and we are still working on them (apart from these new plugins) and they affect the cloud and all the services.

    Not sure if it is related, but I saw a line that might not be working anymore. Just in case, my recommendation is to update it, because it might affect sooner or later.

    As you know, we updated completely our C2 plugin, and the prelude was replaced. In addition, CocoonJS is no longer called like that inside the plugin, the object is called Cocoon.

    In the plugin, I saw this: CocoonJS["App"]["setAppShouldFinishCallback"](function ()

    It should be: Cocoon.App. exitCallback(function () ... or Cocoon["App"]["exitCallback"](function () ...

    Just wait a little bit more. It won't take long. However, remember we will publish first for all platforms and then we will adapt the plugin for C2.

    In addition, I can tell the it won't be only an AdMob plugin <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink">. It will be the first part of a big release.

    Additional to that my webstorage is cleared every time I restart the game.

    I'm not sure but the memory handling doesnt seem to work as well. I receive a memory warning but the log just shows me 6MB are used...

    Thanks for the test case, we will have a look at it. About the memory warning, it shouldn't be triggered only for 6MB of memory usage. About the webstorage, we fixed the issue that was cleaning the webstorage in the Webview+ for iOS.

    Hello, while you are here, may i ask you about the webstorage issue in webview+ for iOS that causes webstorage to wipe out if users runs out of space? Any news on that front? I heard that WKWebView has some kind of auto-cleaning feature, which periodically remove temporary files or cache in the app folders if they are not flagged as "non temporary". So you need to flag the temp files and cache somehow. This prevents many users here from using webview+, Ashley said that there's nothing he can do about this bug, so maybe you can fix it somehow, or if it's something in c2 maybe you can help us fix it?

    We have been looking for it since you post your comment, and we didn't find such a flag. If it exist, it will be really easy to solve.

    Yes, more or less. The sandbox mode is for iOS. On Android you need to do some different steps.

    If you disable the sandbox mode and you sign the apk and upload it to the store as beta, then you can add testers to the project and you can buy the items (without paying, of course) and check if you have configured your project in the right way.

    This is the right way of testing in Android. Then, you should be able to get all the responses.

    There is nothing disabled. If it is a non-consumable item, you should be able to restore it instead of buying it again. In addition, we added a second capx for r195 and higher so you can test different products easily using your own configuration if you compile it at the cloud or if you create a custom launcher. I assume you are testing your app and you are using the sandbox mode, right? Or did you upload it to the store and you are using the tester mode?

    Canvas+ has a better performance than Webview+. It depends on what type of game you want to achieve, because Canvas+ has more limitations too. In addition, my recommendation is to keep on using the deprecated exporter at least by now.

    Yes, that is right. We are currently on it. It won't take too long.

    Apart from that, recently we fixed an important issue in our end regarding the touch event when the game center was opened and the game is paused in the background.

    If anyone found this issue, just recompile the project again.
