  • +1!! Would absolutely love to have this for C2 <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hi Snooba, can you please give us a link to your portfolio and provide some more details on your proposed projects?

  • Hi Folks!

Our entry to the Indie Speed Run 2012(Game Jam) is now available for free play!

We were given 2 variables: hippo and childhood to make into a game over a 48 hr period. What we came up with was an endless game that became a weirdo video game version of an acid trip <img src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0" align="middle">

Please, please, please give us fellow C2 devs some upvotes, we'd really appreciate it <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle">

  • I used a test automation tool for a couple of years called HP Mercury QTP. It basically allowed you to swap between action view (ie events), and Vb script. The action view was great for newbs, and once you were comfortable with the tool you could switch to traditional coding. If the same principle could be applied to C2 that would be such a dream come true ??

It would also be a great bridge to programming for non coders as well.

  • Sweet this is the original game!!   <img src="smileys/smiley10.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Cool idea guys! Is the general gist of it to each make a mini game and then send it to one guy to combine them into one project?

  • Absolutely- you can make this easily. I made a prototype advergame where you have to water plants, harvest them, clear rocks etc. The key is to break the game into turns with the 'every x seconds' condition.

  • The jungle sprite pack that comes with c2 may have what you want

  • nice work!

  • AarongamerX - let us know how you go, I'm interested to know if you'll be able to get a 3D game going fairly easily with PM. I had a look at Unity a while ago, but got distracted by other stuff.

  • RexRainbow got one going properly with Heroku. There are some other guys around the place who have also got stuff going with node.js. I also saw a few months a go a working example by juanatar (sp?), which I was able to get going on my own LAN. It was still a bit buggy but it worked for the most part.

  • Try Construct 3
