  • Its time for me to give something back to the community.

    For the people who liked the old "Liero" game and would like to build such a game.

    My QuantumBlast example is a great starting point.

    Quantum Blast is a real game i am building, and the very early capx is for the community to be shared.

    It has everything for grappling and splitscreen platform gaming.

    The game is in very early stages of development but you are more than welcome to my dev blog.

    It is not very well doccumented but when u dive a little into the logic i build u wil find it easy.

    Controls (gamepad)

    left right = left right

    up down = aim up down

    right shoulder button = grappling hook

    left shoulder button + up/down = activate grappling up or down

    button 2 = jump/double jump/release grappling

    when grappling (hanging) left right = swing left/right

  • Hi Team Scirra.

    In my game i use the save game state system events.

    All goes well until i want to update my game.

    I run the "browser" -(on update ready) restart layout condition and event.

    The problem is that "the saved game state" does not account for game updates.

    So instead of showing me the updated version of the game, it shows only the last saved version.

    Kan u fix this one of the future builds of Construct2?

    After 1.5 years and 2 earlier versions i completed the Youniverse App!

    Im super happy with the result.

    Because this is not a Game its probably rare this is made with Construct 2.

    But im so happy i did!!!

  • Both are needed for the app im building.

    It works just fine with no slowdown in game performance.

    That is because my app is setup correctly.

    But for everyone else your comment should truly be taken in account.

    Click on set Master button and then a sprite to set a master.

    Then click on set Slave button, and then a other sprite to let it rotate around the master.

    When u then click on the set Master button again u can set a second Master/and third etc.

    Just remember that after u have set the master, the slaves u will set are connected to that master.

    u can also click on set Master and then a previous master u already set to start adding slaves to that specific master.

    The slaves are drag & drop, and the more distance u put between the slave and the master, the slower the rotation of the slave around the master.
