ginchpuppy - excellent news, glad it was useful!
You can, but won't always work. Go into the project file, opening it with a text editor, and change the r number back. I've had to do this a few times and it has always worked.
All sounds like kickass news. particularly as phonegap built apps are so laggy on iOS. Looking forward to checking this out with R99

Once Awesomium gets fully sorted then that will be a huge step forward. I know it adds a huge amount of size to the final file, but not that big a deal.
Here's one I created in about four hours using Premiere Pro and screen grabbing with a free package. Very rough, but will do for me as a stopgap
I think Ashley implemented it before appmobi. Appmobi needs to update its sdk before it will work.
...cocoon doesn't allow upload to the apple app store just yet and they haven't got a launch date for it happening yet, tho cloud service on its way. Looking forward to it happening.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
I'm getting unplayable performance on iOS using phonegap build. With Android thru phonegap it's pretty good and I have successfully published, taking note of the performance tips. Gonna see whether appmobi with directcanvas will get me some performance traction on iOS!
If I didn't use layers I'd be having a whole load of hassle and pain. It's fundamental to the way I work.
We'll also have a cloud compilation platform that will compile your HTML5 game and spit out an Xarchive file and an APK for iOS and Android. But an iOS provisioning will be needed so that with the certificate you can upload it to Apple yourself to generate the final IPA file to submit to the iOS app store.
ludei Do you have a roadmap for launch of your cloud compliation platform? That's exactly what I'm looking for.
