  • I'm about to start working on the game again. My child is near to complete 1 year and the full script is done and I'm learning some new techniques of drawing, like Comics, manga, etc, to help in the development.

    Soon Steam Games will have a high quality piece of art with soul, pixels and flavor of old school adventure.

    The full game will miss the actual style to bring cinematic, puzzles / mini games and a SCUMM format.

    I hope to come here in two or three months to share some new screenshots of the scenarios, tips, etc.

    If you played the game at this time, and play the full game, you'll understand everything and will be surprised by the immense story arc, to leave the group on the river corner.

    Oh, also, the game will be made with the same passion I did the showcase, and will be made firstly for myself, for my pleasure, and after, when finished and satisfied, you'll be able to play it on Steam, GooglePlay, Mac and iOS.

    After reading the Manual - GooglePlay section, I'm unsure about how we can check if the player have or not an valid license of the game.

    Do you know how to check it?

  • I'm 31 old now, and simple accomplished all my tasks in career, so, decided learn Construct 2 (since the first public release) and now I'm doing games as my hobby, also, learning manga, Comics and other types of 9th Arts.

    I can say with property, if you make games as you eat when you're alone in a isolated island for two weeks and find a banquet, you're safe, otherwise, don't try to live from games, specially these days, where games with good content are selling less than crap games.. But it's a talk for another time.

  • After teaching C2 Techniques and how games work, with various samples, I observed a whole student class change from singular visitors to real developers.

    Become an one man army is a matter of how you do things, and becoming organized, paying attention to details, etc, you can make almost anything, even with trial & error.

    My next game will be an adventure, and the second in the line will be another adventure, with some unique techniques, the third will be an action adventure. Actually I'm learning how to draw manga and HQs (Comics) to draw it.

    The course of HQ and Manga are running in parallel with my Dr. Degree in Civil Engineer (Calculist), so, you can see how the time is a matter of desire and not only opportunity.

    If you lack skills in art, find someone to fill this hole or start learning / improving it, otherwise you'll waste your time, instead of making something good with your precious time.

  • Since you can't send pm and you didn't explained exactly how your game will work, I don't know if it worth the time or you're just learning C2 and want publish a random game.

    Explain more, and maybe you achieve what you want.
