  • Well I did it by changing the behavior of the character from Physics to Platform.

    Then, whenever space is released, and vectorY < 0, set vectorY to vectorY / 2.

  • there is a way to get around this. If you save your project as a folder, open the project XML and change the version information.

    However, this could still not open in r80.2 if you have used any new features!

    Ashley, you say 'thousands of sprites', but really I have struggled with performance my entire life with C2, and certainly do not display thousands of sprites!

    Just wanted to know how people have fared in testing metro apps and their performance. Internet Explorer has been awful up to this point... Does it now support WebGl and is it able to run a complex game?

    If it is, that's amazing. This could be the next big break for C2 developers.

    Although I suppose there would be security issues with a website tracking your EYE MOVEMENTS!!

  • I suppose it could be possible, if you develop an algorithm to turn a sequence of moves into a long string, and convert it back on another computer.

    Also, if you don't know good server coding, you probable need to forget multiplayer gaming for the moment!

    (Keep in mind this is all based off what I have heard. I could be entirely wrong.)

    Make sure you browse the plugins section as you will need third party plugins to facilitate multiplayer.

  • At the moment, very little. Unfortunately HTML5 performance on mobiles right now is mediocre. It's getting better, and Scirra are actively finding ways to make performance better and better.
