  • Pretty cool.

  • lucid,

After the recent update I have been experiencing this sort of blinking effect when I switch animations in my game. And that's because there's one empty frame at the beginning of each animation.

  • OK. Good to know.

  • I think I go with a story where hes not mexican, but a bit stupid "tourist" who don't know what chillies are exactly.

California, nice to hear you like it. Maybe I should <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • I was thinking that he wouldn't be Mexican but someone who really wan't to be a Mexican.

  • I'm making a Mexican themed happy game. Do you think it's racist to have a funny looking cartoon Mexican wearing a sombrero hat and collecting spicy chilli peppers?

  • Ashley, what is the .capx file needed for? I was just pointing out that the object time scale doesn't work in r122 with any project or I don't know how to use it.

    download the capx

  • RandomExile, yes I changed it to private due to some small bureaucratic reasons. I will show something when I get more done.

  • Link to .capx file (required!):

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. New project

    2. create sprite and use bullet behavior to it with speed 50.

    3. set "on start of layout" in event sheet and set "Wait" to 2 seconds and set "object time scale" "New sprite" to 0.2.

    4. Run your project.

    Observed result:

The sprite only uses motion set in bullet behavior and doesn't slow down.

    Expected result:

some sort of bullet time kicking in after 2 seconds from the start.

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: yes

    Firefox: yes

    Internet Explorer: yes

    Operating system & service pack:

    Windows 7 64bit

    Construct 2 version:

    r122

  • I think that Valve's Steam Box will crush Ouya out from the market and that's why Ludei should just forget it and focus on improving CocoonJS's speed with WebGL on mobile.

  • Val

    Thank you.

  • Rory thanks<img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

level1sb Only the beginning and the end of the video has some post processing effects. The actual game has that look as in the video can be seen. I'm only using WebGL to get this special bloom effect. There's puzzles to be solved and a story line to follow. That spider is using dynamic animations(So it would be limping if missing one leg). The other insects are animated in Spriter.

There's no playable demo right now.
