Most of what people keep asking for was done by Kayin 3 years ago, including air/land dash. The cap may need re-creating again in the newer versions of CC due to changes (such as keyboard events, DirectSound being deprecated, etc) but I've just had a look and the dash works. The thread is HERE. Hopefully of use to some people.

Just updated to Firefox 5 and the release notes say they've fixed the more obvious security issues around WebGL.

Can someone please help me? I installed construct classic r1.2 on my computer and every time I try to use it I get a popup saying

"This application has failed to start because XAPOFX1_1.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

And I have reinstalled it multiple times, but it doesn't work. If someone here could help me that would be great.

This should really be in the help section.

Have a look at the thread HERE. Hopefully, you're problem is the same.

Just a (non-related) thought/suggestion, but maybe it would be beneficial to have all python related questions and answers under their own sub-forum, for easier accessibility. It would certainly make finding what we need much simpler, rather than trawling though generic help.

As I said, just a thought/suggestion/wishful thinking.

I read about it on theRegister HERE. I've had WebGL disabled in my firefox for a while, seeing as I don't use C2 yet.

Have you seen the MegaMan engine done by TecManX HERE. Don't know if it's of any use, but it has some useful ideas.

CC 1 is a 2D game creation system, after all. It never pretended to be a 3D system, so it's implementation is very limited. It may change in C2 hopefully.
