  • hi DatapawWolf

    i have small the pictures

I believe that hold up to all the competition, with 99$

and Intel Atom quad-core processor, clocked at 1.8GHz, with 1 GB of RAM with PowerVR Series 6 graphics engine.

    Here's my two cents:

    • It's not $99, it's $139 (since you can't play mobile games with a remote control)
    • 1 GB RAM is the bottleneck. Smartphones already reached 4 GB, with the majority at 2 GB. There are contracts with providers (at least here in germany) which grants you a new smartphone per year. With that in mind it is very likely that mobile games make use of higher RAM.
    • 8 GB internal storage is ok, but not convincing. What about a card slot to enhance the storage? If missing, that's another bottleneck.

We'll see how it will work out.

  • Thank you

  • I vote for official pronunciation as construct. ;D

    Me too

I shall call it C2 from here on out.

So you're following the anarchistic path of newt?

But remember, that's two syllables as well. So, will it be seetoo or seetoo?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Thank you all for sharing it with me! I really am just curious. Yes, sometimes I'm coming around the corner with some weird stuff

Now I am going to be totally thinking about this on our next podcast. Thanks a lot

I would love to say I'm sorry. But truth is, I'm not!

  • Hey guys, I really enjoyed listening! I hope this will become a fixed institution. I'm very curious how it will evolve. Best of luck!

  • So, I was listening to this cool new podcast and as a side-effect got curious about the word "construct".

I heard two different syllable stresses: construct and construct. Now from the dictionaries I learned that the first is the noun, while the latter is the verb.

Of course, someone like me just has to know what you all interpret "construct" to be: the verb or the noun? I always stressed the first syllable

And how about you, Ashley and Tom, was the noun on your mind or the verb, when the software was created some 8 or so years ago? I'm pretty sure that nowadays you don't really care, but how was it back then?

  • wisdom - I got a virus warning from Avira, when i clicked your link

Confirmed. Two viruses or unwanted programs detected. Maybe itch.io has some strange ways of placing ads or something?

Btt, the effect looks great so far. Objects sinking are beautiful, but the water itself is a bit too clean. I'd add some "dirtyness" (or bubbles if it will belong to a more funny game). Just something that tells the liveliness of the water itself a bit more.

  • Nice! Can't wait to hear more! Subbed

    > I can't watch since I am at work. Congrats on starting a youtube channel though. I've had mine since 2006

  • I just started a YouTube-Channel. Under the project name "7 15" (sevenfifteen) it will be filled with EDM/Trance over time. There's not much yet, just this song:

Take a look at the channel from time to time

  • Ah, I see. Sorry then. I was just hooked by "create lighting". I should have read it more carefully. At least you now have another effect in reach, should you need it

  • aw geez I think I finally solved it. I had two layers, bottom one with whatever, and the top one had an object with the erase effect, and the color replacer effect by R0j0hound on the layer to control the result.

    color fusion (masked) effect

  • I agree with that viewpoint as well, but you can't deny there's a place for both risk and caution when it comes to using and/or buying third-party plug-ins. Just as people shouldn't 100% stop using third-party plug-ins, they shouldn't dive 100% into using every one that is developed. It depends on the person, their situation and their personality. Since you put forward the pro statement, I just put down a con, I wasn't saying caution overruled using any third-party plug-ins as a blanket statement, .

True, nobody should just take whatever plugin there is, or at least be aware that not all of them will be working forever (especially those, that access browser functions and the like). So I agree to this quote completely.
