Unpredictability is a very slippery slope to frustrating gameplay. Be wary in this waters...
Any ETA for full release CROS?
Oh and with data storage, do you mean just variables or actual files? If the second one, what's the size limit?
Ah, yes, I was torturing it quite a bit.
Edit: I've been trying to think of a way of doing a blob system like that, but making its area constant to make it more physically accurate. Any ideas?
The centre dot went outside the ring, which made the whole thing go a bit crazy. I had to put it down.
You mean like this? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/529356/blob.exe I made it ages ago. It's kind of fragile if you mess with it with the mouse, but it's pretty stable as long as it's just interacting with the environment.

I tried to move my blob and it died
Thought this was a fascinating read, and a good reference for building your own AI systems:

If you could use the tracker, it would probably help the devs out a lot.
I was in year 4, and my friends and I had a running joke about a parody of the matrix - at one point we came up with all the characters being cows. Thus, the Cowtrix. Stupidest origin of a nickname ever? I think so.
cow_trix is my steam username. w00t w00t.
The one thing that makes this really hard to use is there's no visual cues for distance. Would it be hard to make the character get smaller as he goes further away?
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
more importantly... how did you find that?!
