  • Silly me, a distance threshold is much less wastefull than a collision check.

    Just pick by distance < something and then apply force accordingly

  • I recently released a small game onto the wild (exe file along with DirectX web updater) and I got many reports of crashes.

    Turns out one of them was using WinXP. He tested in another computer with Win7 and it ran "flawlessly".

    So, is WinXP supported? I want to put this info in the readme file.

    I exported using 9992 (I know, unstable, but the build I was using before was doing crazy things).

    I mean auto adjust for aspect ratio, zoom, black bars and auto coordinate system adjustment.

    EDIT: As currently this is a major pain, specially with stuff like the wrap behavior and others, you'll have to adjust MANY parameters for any resolution change. You might have to mess with every single motion parameter.

    Oh and I wish the Custom Movement plugin was framerate independent, but that's for another thread

  • yeah and since it's android, it means it should be fairly easy (distribution channel-wise) to develop for it.

  • to avoid falling through on pauses, limit the lower frame rate in advanced runtime properties.

    The reason I don't post here is because the things shown (file folders, forum threads and a bit of art) are not really representative of "a fully defined game".

    Nothing in the website or this post give any further detail either. There's not much to go for, except for that object combination thing, which sounds really hard to do, specially with Construct.

    No link to that "forum full of people" either. Blogroll points to default wordpress stuff.

    Not a good hint.

    yeah that would be nice.

    Actually what I'd like is for plugins to be able to modify the editor's behavior, so the physics plugin could do exactly that..... and an iso behavior could show the object's height, and IK could show the rig with bones and handlers, and etc etc

  • hey, this sounds good. Perhaps would be better as the history pallete in Photoshop that I absolutely love. Undo with description, yay!
