    • Fixed a couple of bugs
    • Polished it quite a (thanks to LiteTween - such an awesome plugin - THANKS LUNARRAY!)
    • Added the kilt move (I was going to leave this for the premium Android version - which is why the previous HTML5 version didn't include it)
    • Added a quit button (well... surrender flag on the main menu ;p)

    The way I had the kilt move before, was when the player beat the hiscore, it was activated.. it's basically an extra life.. is this better than just having it activated at the beginning of every game?

    KEYS:

    p right punch

    . right kick

    q left punch

    z left kick (or y for foreign keyboards)

    SPACE restart

    NUMPAD:

    9, 3, 7, 1

    5 to restart

    Tutorial mode (accessed from main menu) will only guide you through using a touchscreen device, although you can just click through using the mouse, then use your preferred keys setup from above.

    It's hard at first, but once you get into a rhythm.. Although keeping that rhythm is even harder (at least for me!). Because of this, the difficulty doesn't increase. Depending on feedback, I may increase the difficulty slightly every 10 seconds or something.

  • Let's say you save enough money for a Construct 2 license. You buy it. You develop your game happily. Then you go to upload to google play... ugh oh.. $25 fee for that. Apple? $99 for that...

    My advice is to save / sell stuff / borrow, to buy the license. Then create your game. Seriously, if it's good enough you can get sponsorships from sites like Kongregate or FGL, then you'll be able to afford to put it on Play and the Apple stores.

    Just don't pile all your hopes into this one "superb" game. After working on it for a while, and testing the mechanics, you'll probably realise it wasn't that superb afterall.

  • I think you'll get a better response if you post some of your graphics. They don't have to be from the game if you're not comfortable showing those.

  • You should at least give the player time, from pressing the start button, to actually trying to dodge a pipe... put at least a 1-2 second gap.

  • Well you were deflecting the attention to someone else. No matter how much of an a*se that other guy is, people are only gonna look at you making it worse for yourself when you do such things.

    Seriously, learn your lesson from this and move on. Try and control your emotions on the www since there are trolls who feed off you getting p*ssed off at the slightest thing. They love it!

  • sman118 ahh ok interesting. I used to use Toon Boom many moons ago. Might check that out again, even though I own Spriter! Never got into Spriter all that much since I never did anything that required it, but some work is coming up and will probably require those kind of animations so.... ;p
