I think its the file that's the issue.

I tried to open it up in Audacity, and it crashed the program, every time.

Try another sound perhaps?

Also, see where it says accurate resolution to 10 milliseconds in every x milliseconds?

Might try on key pressed, trigger once, set sound looping.

Then on key released, exit channel.

Not sure what you mean by hotspots, since all sprites will have their own, and you can only set that in the editor.

I take it your talking about moving a bunch of sprites as if they were one image?

If so you can use image points, but that has one of the drawbacks of a hotspot, you cant change it during runtime.

But with image points you can have as many as you like, and use one image as the base for the group.

Offset works well for is left and is right, you just have to get your movement correct, or add additional offset comparisons for the gap made when the troll moves.

Yeah if its something new, then you might check to see if there's any changes in your system.

I will say I have that issue sometimes, but its usually when my vram is already taxed, or if the image is a little bit larger.

Yes its possible, but its a pretty contrived process.

There's a ton of stuff you have to take into account on every little thing you do. Stuff like reading from the gpu, relative coordinates, no existing menu system, and canvas...has a few issues.

It's even possible to do some layer modes, but its not possible to add them on the fly.

Same goes for the particles object, it will paste into the canvas, but you cant change the texture during runtime.

Yeah, that's the reason I went for the other way.

There's no such thing as an angle above 360, likewise none below 0, so it resets.

All you can do is compare the sprites angle to make sure it doesn't go above or below.
