I think you should remove the collision with teh bricks once they are hit.
I don't understand how to get the smooth shading. I tried the adaptive and adaptive plus but neither have smooth shading for me while your example cap works perfectly.
Yeah i think that's a valid reason why it's not a good idea to try, or implement it.
If you look at game maker. You can make games like doom. But all games published on yoyogames are just doom clones.
Best way for 4 way animation, but what if you want 8 way animation? I noticed that if you put in an event that checks if for example arrow up and left are pressed, it doesn't change the sprite unless you're standing still.
What about faked 3D?
Will the last error i mentioned be fixed in the next release? An easy fix i hope..
Else i could just toss away the saves right now.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Only thing you need to do is try to save.
I will post a save. Hold on.
This is frustrating. I can't recreate it anymore. And i did it like 3 times in a row before!
Here's the file anyway:

all i did was make 2 5x32 sprites . renamed them and set the x and y to the player with an offset.
I encountered this
Let me know if i need to upload the save before the error.
How to recreate:
Create a sprite, rename and you are now unable to save.
Arg now i can't get either to work. the hinged door won't close as i want it to, and the sliding door crashes.
Your example is great, but it just snaps back.
Device name: Radeon X1600
Pixel shader: 3
Estimated VRAM: 607 MB
Motion blur: Yes
I noticed i had some issues with the info box and buttons. Not sure if it's my video card, but when an info box appears my screen freezes for a sec. buttons flicker when passing over them.
