VRAM might be an issue if the game was HD.

You have to remember that Diablo has very dated and small graphics compared to nowadays.

If you install it and take a look at it now, it's **** really...

If you are aiming at Diablo quality graphics then sure... VRAM not an issue. If you make looking at some HD stuff then you may end up with a problem.

TONKS doesn't even work on my MSI Wind anymore (in fact, long ago it stopped) since there is only like 128Mb of VRAM on it.

My ability to vote is broken for some reason...

But I am more of a traditionalist when it comes to RPGs. I prefer the "Diablo Style" of levelling where you get stat points upon levelling, and EXP can be earned from completing quests and killing stuff.

Some ideas I would like to see added to this though include:

• Exp given for exploration of new areas (not on the "main route" of the linear quests and storyline)

• Optional bonus grind (extras that can make the game more interesting, but you don't NEED them to complete the game. Extra grindy for those people who can click until their mouse button falls off)

Any code that you have written that is older than 6 months may as well have been written by someone else.

Luckily I organised it well... so while I don't quite understand half of it... At least I know what each bit does and how complete the code is for it (since I used colours to help with that).

But yes... it was partially written by others anyway... you should know that *wink wink*.

Yes Construct is perfectly capable of all the things you mentioned apart from the online aspect (unless someone makes a plugin or you can code it in python).

My long term project is nearing a year old now... if not already a year, mind you a fairly major bug in Construct stopped any work from transpiring for about 6 months. That bug is now fixed so work can and will continue once I figure out what drugs I was smoking when I made my event sheet.

So yes, take the advice that has already been mentioned... make sure you make plenty of backups, and store them in folders corresponding to the version of Construct you used to make it. Also, be cautious when upgrading to new versions if the one you have is working fine and does everything you need it to do. The bug that killed my project (temporarily) was from a new added feature that I was waiting for... so unfortunately I didn't have a lot of choice.

Pretty neat concept. Would be better though if you couldn't just dangle the ball over the goal and let go... or even worse, wiggle it up and down like a yoyo and get endless goals.

Other than that, it's a pretty neat example of physics being manipulated with the mouse... kind of reminds me of my hammer demo.
