The file "nw" is your executable file.

To avoid any issues, you can run the command as administrator; eg on ubuntu:

$ sudo chmod a+x nw

Needed for modules containing C/C++ addons because they use parts of the engine to sustain their execution. (greenworks/setam4c2/robotjs....)

So when I export with this plugin and export as a nwjs project, it just launches a small black screen. Doesn't initialize the game. Though preview works in construct!

This could happen with v1.3 and is fixed in 1.3.1 (if you use correct nw.js version with related plugin version and steamworks sdk 1.38A)

Steam Overlay needs a constant refresh in order to work correctly, black bars from letterbox are not refresh by canvas that's why you have this bug.
