  • Acrobatics!? Well, Construct users must be agile to be able to avoid random crashes and bugs coming out from every possible place .

  • This game's quite enjoyable. Ball randomness is very annoying. Falling block are very interesting and unique.

You Must focus on eliminating this strange ball bouncing and provide English-languaged "readMe" files as well. Haven't checked 1.1 version: did you correct bug allowing "starting game with left mouse button" even when ball is moving?

  • Angle 0: right

    Angle 90: bottom...

IMO this is correct because it comes from:

    X = R*cos(angle)

    Y = R*sin(angle)

    Simple, and easy to implement.

    <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt="" title="Shocked" /> ... he he... <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" />, that's why we shouldn't make things more complicated.

  • [quote:2431f7qf]Hehe, it looks like I blew up the WantedPages with my links... someone get on that

Wikiprojects works like this <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" />... very nice article. I've made only one but it took me over 2 hours for just one little article... well, English it quite hard <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" />.

  • I don't think it is an attempt... it's just two spawners of objects with given physics movement. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_neutral.gif" alt=":|" title="Neutral" />

You should've added condition to destroy "sinewave" effect or how it is called if PS is under 2.0.

    Well... but... yes, it works. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" />

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Thank you. It works now <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" />.

I have an unusual problem. The "OK" button (or something like that) simply dissapeared and I can't add any event. To show what I mean:

    http://pakiet.i365.pl/const.jpg

    When it happened.

Well, I usually have resolution set to 1600x1200. While in Construct, I changed it from Windows to 1024x768. Then I think was the first time when this button disappeared (also "Cancel" on the left should be there).

After that, I turned back into 1600x1200...

After that, I installed most recent Construct (0.86.2 on 0.86)

Also uninstalling and installing it back coudln't bring the buttons back. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" />

    What shall I do?

  • It's better when there's one central place than two <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" />.

  • I'm using private variables to animate.

Animation frame number AFAIR is 1-based.

It is really hard to use current Animation Editor, so I can only advice to carefully prepare sprites in (for example) TGF editor and then paste frame by frame. One mistake and everything must be done from beginning <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" />.

  • I didn't say that <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" />. Althought it's 2007, there are still talented kids or even adult people new to the internet community stuff. Not everyone are born with knowlegde 'how to behave in internet community', even we.

IMO it is more important for community to have as much talented game makers as possible than to have as little morons as possible.

  • I hope you won't be on your holy mission to hunt every troll/moron/noob? Please... no <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" />. Just being older doesn't make you more mature when it comes to internet community.

  • There are options under "World Solver" property:

    <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_arrow.gif" alt="" title="Arrow" /> Linear

    <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_arrow.gif" alt="" title="Arrow" /> Adaptive

    <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_arrow.gif" alt="" title="Arrow" /> Exact

    What differences are between them?

In one .cap (Kick It) there was possibility to give circle object such great force that it could go throught wall and leave playfield... when I changed World Solver into "exact" then I wasn't able to repeat this action.

And about calculation... how relatively more complex are calculations done with Exact method instead of Linear? Is it like 2 times or maybe 10 or 100 times?
