The C3 website says that it will be backwards compatible with C2. Does this extend to 3rd party plugins?

There are a couple of .js libs that i'd like to make as plugins but i'm not sure if it's worth the cost and effort of development if they won't work or have to be rewritten.

5 years on still no problems. Can't wait to be able to run Construct natively though when C3 comes out.

For me graphics are the hardest part. Usually i leave them until the game engine is complete enough that i know i can finish the project and so can commit to spending all the time and effort they deserve. I have lots of ideas though.

I'm a chronic unfinisher, but it's still in development.

Really like the look of the last image, especially the player character. He looks like a cartoon version of Conrad Hart from FlashBack.

Fusion 3 is at least 2 years off, probably more. 2.5 hasn't been out that long and its still being actively developed with some features still being beta tested, their products in the past have had a notoriously long shelf life, i think 2.0 was about 8 years.

In my opinion the scirra store has reduced the number of file sharing and new tutorials, people are selling their stuff now.

But still its generally a helpful and pleasant community.

Have you tried Easystar pathfinding instead? It works with a tilemap.

There are a lot of cool improvements that could be added to the token commands, but i think they have been abandoned in favour of regex.

I think the closest thing you'll get then for now is perhaps the gameswarp shader mentioned in one of the posts.
