  • I didn't see you respond, so I'm not sure if you missed my earlier post, so just in case I'll bring it up again that opacity doesn't get taken into account when pasting an object with an effect.

  • Google fonts is a good free resource.

  • I don't know why people are so scared to show any proof that they have made money. it's not like anyone is going to steal your credit card number.

I mean. If you have something in the app store why would you NOT want to share that? If you've made money why would you NOT want to let people know? heck, if I made even $2.00 I would be jumping for joy and letting everyone know about it.

Apparently you're unaware, so let me make this crystal clear - asking people about their financial details is considered rude by society in general, not just us.

All I'm asking is if there is anyone willing to show proof that they've made money with this program. You act as if I'm raping your daughter or something.

That is WAY out of line. Even if you're exaggerating for effect, please refrain from making such statements. We are doing no such thing and that is likely to offend people.

and yes, if you can't show any proof then my only conclusion if you say you have made money is that you are not being truthful.

Not can't, won't. News flash here too: just because a person won't show proof doesn't automatically mean they're lying. Instead, maybe you could realize that people have got more important things to do than look up and publically post financial information for you. Just because you don't think it's rude doesn't mean others don't. Not everyone thinks the same as you.

The claim that you think people are automatically lying if they don't provide proof of their claims leads me to believe you might be trolling, but even if you're not, you're being rude. We want the forum to be a friendly and welcoming place for everyone, so please moderate your behavior in the future on these forums.

you guys say that it's about the game, not about the program. Well of course it's about the game. Just show me the game you've made money with. that's all I'm really asking.

Showing you a game doesn't prove it's made money.

    This thread is done.

  • Oh, come on. Asking for proof of financial information is generally considered rude, doubly so because it implies you think we're lying since you won't take our word.

It's not farfetched to think that people can be making money with C2 at all, as people can make money doing all kinds of stuff, even things you think no one in their right minds would pay someone to do.

  • Lots of people have, including me.

  • The problem with chrome is likely because of chrome 32, which has an issue that quite a few users are affected by that is fixed in chrome 33.

  • I might be misinterpreting your statement, but I should be clear, I'm just a moderator, I'm not a scirra employee, I don't work on c2 itself, I just work with it. Thank Ashley and Tom instead. :)

Unless your thanking me for helping around the forum, in which case you're welcome. :)

  • Yeah, that's what I thought, thought it was worth asking though just in case.

Cheers to keeping me in mind for any future debugging needs. :)

  • It's on the to do list to make it so a user defined area can be updated on the obstacle map instead of the whole thing, which will fix the problem. No ETA, though.

  • There's a problem with chrome 32. It's fixed in chrome 33, there isn't much that can be done aside from waiting until then, although I think someone said disabling the driver blacklist fixes it. You can use node webkit to preview instead for the time being.

  • Trigger once shouldn't be used in situations like this with multiple instances and for each loops. In your example, there is always instances that have laserleft equaling true and false, which means that both the trigger once events run every tick - meaning they only shoot once. Trigger once needs to not run in order to reset itself. If both ships are set to true, that means the trigger once events don't run every other tick, and therefore it works.

Here's an example of how to do it better: http://www.amirai.net/forums/StopsShooting2.zip

At least, that's what I thought you were basically trying to achieve. This way, it doesn't matter how many instances you have or what the other instances are doing.

Is that $50 - or some of the $50 since you isolated it - still up for grabs? ^^ I could really use it...

  • C2 can export executables via node webkit.
