  • You are right, it works completely fine with nw.js.

    I was hoping for webview2 to work as well, since a desktop application. But I've just read that webview2 is running through MS Edge, so it's still treated as browser.

    so I've tried discord and the "how do I..." Forum, but can't find any help. Most likely because my problem isn't solvable with the basic Construct functions (?).

    So maybe you guys can help me.

    I'm trying to find a way to save arrays as JSON file within the game files. I found a possible way to do it with the FileSystem, but this only works when the user previously picked the file path. Since I want users to create levels and save them as JSON files within the game files, i find it very inconvenient, if they have to locate the correct file location manually first, and it also would make it unnecessary complicated to show all created levels since they are not located at the same place. So it would be great if i can write and read files in a preset folder path.

    So since it's not possible with the FileSystem (or at least i couldn't figure it out properly), i thought it might be possible with JavaScript itself?

    Any help on this would be great <3

    I'm looking for a way to create new files and save them automatically inside a preset path.

    So I've tried to do it with the FileSystem. But this seems only to work after the File Picker - action is executed before and the user has choosen a path.

    But what if i have already created folders inside my project, and i would like to use those folders to store and read new created files?

    I mean of course it would work with the File Picker, but i don't want the user to go and find the correct file path, if there could be already a preset one which will always be the same.

  • I guess you are thinking too complicated. You can actully code it exactly like you already said it (or i misunderstood).

    Basically just check if object X = 1 and object Y = 2

    If an object exists with those variables, the action will trigger. If no object exists with those variables, it doesn't.

    Anyways, I'm glad I'm not the only one with the problem.

    It really seemed like no one else has this problem, or is even aware of it.

    Even though it's now almost 10 Days ago since the last Games were uploaded...

  • Okay, I got it now.

    I accidentally set the Height and Depth to 0.
