    Small update that fixes some issues from the previous release. Also adds minor enhancements like keyboard shortcuts to position the app window.

    Would you mind giving this slightly edited version a try real quick. It just sets the window to 0, 0. Hopefully this will work as expected.

  • Oops, sorry about the way. I tested it but doesnt seem to work even after pressing space. It seems its something to do in my end anyways rip.

    Looks like your OS is reporting wrong window position values. It only seems to be the reporting that's bugged since the debug text below displays the correct absolute position of the window.

    I see two possible solutions to this problem. I could add a shortcut to set the window position to 0, 0 (top-left corner of the screen). Another option could be to save the window position for each session for both the launcher and updater.

    Would the shortcut be good enough or should the window position be saved as well?

    It's a simple app that centers the window based on the values given by Windows. You simply press space to center the window. (Source code is live on GitHub, if there are any concerns.)

  • Hm, My taskbar is at the bottom and im not using any VM. It could be that im using "Bootcamp" to dual boot my macos. So one drive runs macos and the other runs Windows 10.

    Not sure if that could be it. If you're up for testing, I could upload a minimal testing project later. It'll basically try to center the window manually on startup.

  • Whenever i open either Construct launcher or the "C3LUpdater", they open bottom right of my screen everytime. how do i fix this problem

    Are you using anything that could be considered out of the ordinary, on your end? Multi-monitor setup, OS running inside a VM, Taskbar on top or similar? Also how far off-center is it, few pixels or more?

    From a technical standpoint it's fully relying on Windows for doing the window centering job. No clue why it seems to fail on your end. Usually if the centering process fails, Windows tends to put the app window on the top-left or bottom-right (if taskbar is on top).

  • It was updated and I also reinstalled it but after a while, now it works. Weird.

    Could've been a temporally server outage, happens a lot recently. Next time please include the error code, since there isn't much I can do without it.

  • I tried to download the nw.js update through it and it failed. I run it in administrator mode and I was using nw.js 48.0 already before trying to update to 49.2

    What can be wrong?

    Tried to reproduce using both stable and custom release types and it worked fine for both.

    Please make sure that your launcher is up-to-date first. You can check your app version by hovering over the launcher icon in the top-left corner, inside the main menu. If you are up-to-date, please post the given error code. The code can be found in the caption of the error message window.

  • maybe is Nw.js? If i export the same game with minify in browser version works, if I use the nw.js version not :(

    Please report it to Scirra. They still investigate NWjs related bugs: https://github.com/Scirra/Construct-3-bugs/issues. I can't fix Construct 3 bugs, even if I wanted to.

  • The minify on this launcher doesn't work and sometimes is closing without saving/message or anyting.

    You mean Construct 3 project minification doesn't work and it's randomly closing?

    The launcher has nothing to do with Construct 3 itself, it just downloads/updates NWjs and makes it possible to select a Construct 3 release version.
