This is the most great looking game in construct dude well done

  • Glypso Wars's demo will soon be available

  • I will not sell Glypso Wars's demo, but you will need to buy the full version to see more about the game

  • The forum hides half the picture instead of getting deformed. You can see the whole picture by right clicking and selecting view image.

The hud elements are very very nice looking. The planes could do with some shading to make them look more realistic. There are a few language mistakes in the story there, probably a second language sort of thing.

    Over all not too bad.

Thanks steven as for the storyline it's still work in progress, i will make the spelling also correct

  • Duno why the pictures show half

  • TUTORIAL FIGHTER!

    <img src="http://www.louisferina.com/games/TutorialFighter/TutFighter.jpg">

    INTRO

Tutorial Fighter will be a series of tutorials aimed at moderate to intermediate level Construct users showing how to make an action game. I'm expecting each part of the tutorial to be continuously evolving. I will explain what I think is necessary, but if there are questions or I missed something, I'll make sure to add them into the main post or into the comments of the cap file. If you have any suggestions on how to make these tutorials any better, let me know. Help me help you!

I am not a programmer and I don't claim this as the definitive way to make an action game in Construct. If anyone has any suggestions for better coding, I am open to them. I am also not a game designer. If I've incorrectly explained any concepts or someone can define them more clearly, feel free to correct me and I'll update my post.

Also, please excuse my crappy graphics, I plan to polish them as I go. OK, enough disclaimers, here we go!

    • PART 1: CONTROLLING THE PLAYER Covers player control and attacks.
    • PART 2: HITTING THINGS Adding in hit boxes, enemy hit reacts, hit pause, hit effects etc.
    • PART 3: MORE PLAYER MOVEMENT Adding more actions for the player: running, running attacks, blocking, dodges
    • PART 4: SPECIAL MOVES inkBot created a nice example of how to do special moves based on discussions on page 3. I haven't gotten to implementing a special move system yet, but check it out if you're interested.

    Enjoy!

I am an game desginer + i can do graphical art aswell, & i simple love this way of style of fighting, we should make this game as an team

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Post a screenshot. I'll tell you how much to sell it for.

Hey Dataflashsabot not just yet, Still busy fine tuning the overal feel of the game etc, but don't worry i'll post it

  • Great

  • Some indie projects get a lot of hype like Limbo and Braid, so when they come out people instantly buy them. But unless the whole indie world knows that your making the game, your best bet is to give a trial/demo of the game away for free, or offer a 'gold' version of your game that adds some extra features for a few dollars etc.

This is my plan from day 1

  • ... Well you could check what indie developers usually ask but probably around 5-10dollars, but considering it's "Your Great space shooter game" I would recommend giving money for people to take it

Me & my team don't work for free & production cost are also expensive even in the indie world, I will make an mini demo to test & see if you are willing to acttualy buy the full version. Nevertheless I will post about the shooter soon!

  • How much can one ask for an Great space shooter game? i am currently busy doing my own shooter game! which i will sell any advice? Regarding prices?
