    The .capx is available from the playable Arcade link, as mentioned in the first post by Kyatric.

    You should search how to open newer .capx in older versions as the process is very easy and has been covered in numerous previous threads

    This is the section for reporting bugs in the actual C2 software, which from your description, it doesn't look like that's what you are doing. If you are, then you must follow the bug reporting guidelines, or this is likely to be closed automatically.

    If you are just after advice, then you should post in the 'How Do I' section, and include (much more) information than you currently have. A .capx would make help much easier.

  • Make sure to read the manual carefully, especially the System Expressions section regarding numbers.

    The parts that should be of interest to you are such things as Int and Round (especially Round for your case), although you may then decide to try Floor or Ceiling.

    EDIT: I should add that I'm using the latest version of chrome and that it doesn't seem to matter which Browser I choose in the previews settings.

  • You could start by giving more helpful information, such as:

    Are you using the latest version - r211 - of C2?

    Have you used to 'Export to Scirra Arcade option?

    What non-standard plugins - if any - are you using?

    If still no joy, then you will need to wait for Tom to look at your problem.

  • You might want to search for posts by eli0s who has created very similar effects using the lighting system.

  • Have you looked at the built-in templates?

    Open C2, click 'New' and type 'Platform' into the search box. The 'Template:Platformer' example has what you require, as far as I can tell.

  • Solids can overlap - think of all the breakout clones.

    Without you showing your .capx, we can only guess. Have you checked the collision polygons of the objects in question?

  • There are many threads regarding the RPG mechanics (if you are willing to invest some time in learning), but if you are after a ready-made template, then probably your best bet is the Store.

    Considering the plugin hasn't been updated for years and Pode himself hasn't posted for over 9 months, it's looks unlikely an update will appear anytime soon.
