  • Oh man. Works a treat.

Ridiculously easy to create your own track.

    This is amazing, Gigatron.

  • I'm not seeing an difference. Tested in Firefox 42.0, IE 11 and latest NW.js - 60 fps.

Tried running in Debug and also added a text box set to show FPS. Sorry- just not getting any problem.

Can anyone else please try this and report back please.

    What OS/browser/GPU have you got?

    Hi,

i already report it and no one replys except zenox98

Adding 1 layer (+ the original layer) will decrease the fsp and increase cpu usage)

the link is an example with capx

    i will post screenshoots later

Sorry - lost track of this. Just tried to run your .capx but it has 2 plugins from cranberry that I don't have. Any chance you can re-upload without the plugins? (please use your original thread so we can keep the issues separate for now)

Ok. Got your project but what am I meant to be seeing?

I've added multiple Layers to each Layout (up to 10) and I'm not seeing any difference in FPS when running in Debug.

What am I meant to do to re-create your problem?

Maybe it may be easier if you post your project that has the FPS drop already.

  • Hi guyz,

I am new to construction 2,

I bought a private licence, i got the licence key file. Now how do i get the bundle sprites i had with the licence?actually it was bought my one of my friend cause i was busy then. I gave him the money and he bought it, And now he is not in the city and i contacted him, he said to load the licence file.

    What to do now ??

Here is the entry for licenses in the Manual. The part of interest is:

[quote:3f8teen6]If you've made a purchase directly from Scirra (rather than from Steam), you will be sent a redeem key by email. This is a special code you can enter to the Scirra Store and get your license. If you want to buy a license for someone else, you can give them the redeem key and they can then get a license from the store with their own name and email address on it. This also works if you want to buy licenses for a number of people, e.g. your employees or colleagues: you will receive a number of redeem keys, which you can then give to each individual.

Once you have redeemed your purchase from the Scirra Store, you can download your Construct 2 license, which is a file called c2license.txt. You simply need to copy this folder in to either the install directory or My Documents. Restart Construct 2 and it should launch as the licensed version: the purchaser name should appear on the start page and About dialog, Free edition should disappear from the title bar, and the free edition limits should be removed. Alternatively, you can place your license file wherever you like and locate it by clicking Load license file in the About dialog.

The bundle of sprites can be downloaded from the link in the 'About' box , when registered.

You can bypass the posting restriction by inserting characters in the URL, such as a few spaces, e.g.

    h t t p: // w w w.mywebsite.com/mygame.capx[/code:39jmk4n1]
  • I have a game with over 15 Layers so I doubt that's the issue, especially since you appear to be using the free version.

Without seeing what you've done - i.e. providing the .capx would make it much quicker and easier - then we can only guess.

  • can someone help with this issue?

Bumping after only 3 hours is frowned upon.

Please have a little patience as those that can help are spread across many different time zones.

  • davy421

Could you please reupload this file again? I have the same problem as OP.

You need to tag the person in question or they will never know you are asking them. In this case, it looks like you want Colludium to re-upload the file.

  • blackhornet, Thank you sir! Really, you make my day!

There are still 1 problem: You can place random letters because the answer is correct.

I mean let's say it.s a SHEEP picture. You can write RWIDS and it's correct. You can place letters wherever you want and is still correct.

Thank you again sir, for helping me!

Blackhornet has virtually done all this for you.

Have you tried to understand what he has done and attempted to amend it yourself?

If you don't start understanding what he's done for you then you will only encounter more problems and always be reliant on others to do the work for you.

If you try and fail, then fair enough. You can upload your failed attempt and we can then see how to guide you to better understanding, rather than just doing it for you.

If you have no interest in learning how to use C2 then fair enough. I just like to think people want to learn, but it's not always the case

  • anyone on this??

No need to keep bumping - you have already tagged Pode and he will answer when next he is on the forum.

If you check his profile, you will see he hasn't been on for 16 days, so you will need to just be patient.

  • Try Construct 3

  • I've tried your .capx and it looks fine to me. Tested in FF, IE and NW.js.

I'm seeing 60fps, 1%cPU, collisions 0/tick etc, just as would be expected.

What browser are you testing on?

    What system (win10/8/7)?

    What GPU?

  • zenox98 Unticking cache actually worked! Love you man!

    errrr steady now ;/

  • You say you've exported using the 'Export to Scirra Arcade' option from the latest build r216?

Do you get any errors at all when trying to update?

If no errors, then maybe Tom will be able to help or shed some light on the reason.

  • Understood.

The only suggestion I have is to maybe make a new backup and try a little investigative hacking. Maybe start with chopping graphics by replacing with tiny substitutes, to see if it's a memory issue.

Have you tried unticking the 'Cache icons in Editor' option in the 'Preferences/Misc' tab?
