  • This game is looking great, love the tight controls. It reminds me a lot of the early Mega Man, but more enjoyable. Keep up the great work!

  • Create an additional image point above the character and spawn the fireballs from there.

  • Link should be fixed now!

  • The reason for the character bouncing up and down was that the origin on your first animation frame did match the others, as they were all 17, 28 and the origin on the first frame was 18, -9. Here is a version of the file posted with that fixed, I'll try to take a look at the rest of the stuff a bit later: fixedExamplegame3

Advanced spider AI, screenshot doesn't do it justice.

  • Personally, I love Construct 2 and find it to be an amazing tool, especially given its price point. That being said, I really do not think Scirra should advertise support for mobile platforms until stable frame rates are achievable for the average game. I understand it is, in many ways, the consumers responsibility to research the technologies themselves, but I feel like many purchase construct expecting to make mobile games, as it is advertised on the homepage.

  • Submitted a game. We'll see what happens.

  • Honestly, it looks super-sleek.

  • Wouldn't it be better if you made the dots smaller? I think it would look more liquid.

Also, those are definitely not real liquid physics. Though it would be nice to have them.

The performance is already a problem with large dots, small dots would look more like water but you'd barely be able to see it and the frames would start dropping.

  • First prize gets a business edition on C2!

  • The game runs on my Atrix 2. Though you should have it default to landscape if possible :P As of now it begins in landscape and you must rotate it yourself. Very nice though! Which program did you use to convert it to an apk?

  • That actually sounds alot like the G1- the original Google sponsored phone with android. They just released and alpha build of ICS for it and the clock speed is 528. I used to have one but recently upgraded.

  • Plus BoyHK, there is a free tool to convert HTML5 games into native iOS and Android apps, this even includes developing for iOS from a windows machine. The tool is called AppMobi, you should check it out.

  • So excited

  • I'm so excited for this. The Javascript SDK is especially intriguing.
